This looks so awesome. I think the only thing that could have made me even more hyped is if Krang was in it too lol. Is there a release date yet?

Krang is the villain in the upcoming Vol 3 comic. If they keep animating, you may get your wish

Honestly my biggest issue with the trailer is the stiff animation, like a lot of WB stuff it looks like they are cutting out frames to save on animating. And then the voice cast just isn't up to snuff. It has some good people attached but none of the turtle voices are working for me, didn't like the little clip we got of Shredder either. I'll still buy it as I'm a turtle nut but my expectations are very low. I don't know if this is actually based on the comic series they did but I really enjoyed the first Batman Vs TMNT crossover they did a few years ago.
The biggest issue for me is that Cas Anvar is no David Warner, and that's a big mistake, especially as Ra’s al Ghul looks more or less the same as he does in Batman: The Animated Series.

Still, if there really is going to be a UHD Blu-ray, I'll pick it up.

I just wish this movie would get a proper page here on the site and a release date for purchase already.

That's not really the whole point of the bandanas, as the bandanas were initially always presented either in black and white or all the same color (red).

Remember, 99% of people who grew up with the live-action movies and the horrible cartoon and Archie comics never saw the original Mirage comics and don’t know that. They’ve only ever seen the colour-coded bandanas.

That's true, but what I gather was the actual original point of the bandanas (that is, the idea that they were giant mutant turtles wearing tiny masks that in no way disguised their faces, which also didn't need disguising anyway because they had no secret identity) is a good joke and worth remembering.

Lol. Thanks, I wasn't talking about the original comic black and white representation, I'm talking about the colored bandanas that have been the mainstay of the turtles design since the original cartoon in the late 80's . And yeah the colored bandanas were literally the point of differentiating the turtles outside of Eastman & Lairds version.

I'm not entirely sure what the phrase "literally the point of differentiating" means, but the Turtles already had distinctive weapons, and when casting the cartoon they found distinctive voices, so people never had much trouble telling them apart. The decision to colorize the bandanas predates the inception of the cartoon, and was made by the toy company, as one of several decisions to make each one more unique (since they were four characters with the same mold, articulation points, etc), in order to sell more toys. The toy company staff also came up with the distinct characters, especially Mikey (the four personalities were initially a lot more interchangeable), created specifically for the bios on the back. So even your amended statement feels reductive enough to be misleading, though maybe not strictly inaccurate; colorizing the bandanas was one of many choices made over the years to make the characters more distinct, and was arguably not even the most significant one made at the time it was made.

That trailer looked far better than I ever expected. I don’t know why, but that trailer worked for me. So it has my money when it comes out

Looks good. Plus there's going to be 4k uhd version. With those colors that should look awesome. Now as someone mentioned...let's cap it off with a Target steelbook.

This looks insane in a good way. I'll definitely get the 4K, but unless theres a cool looking steelbook I'll just wait, I've had good luck getting the 4Ks cheap on ebay.

Positive reactions for this out of a WonderCon screening. It’s also mentioned that there are some gruesome deaths (sounds like Shredder gets some brutal moments) and that it is presented more as a Batman universe movie with the Turtles coming in (kinda the opposite of Batman v Superman which was more of a Superman movie with Batman coming in)
