if people don't want to respect art, that's one thing. but to level criticism at the company that makes the movie for not being overly commercial and ultimately devoid of any character or uniqueness is foolish.

I guess everything should just be that cgi wash of blandness, right? because that looks "flashy" and parents might want to take their kids to it.

let be honest. this movie doesn't have a supersized marketing budget. that's the biggest thing. if this has the hard push where they airwaves were saturated with ads, than maybe it would be modestly successful.
