Well the last 5 have been, and we have to go back to February to find the last 'new' one (Valentine). With the likes of Freaked and (probably) Terminator on the way, I expect you may be right. And like the last 5, neither of these will have a new transfer, so it's hard to muster up any real enthusiasm (albeit Freaked will have all the DVD extras I expect, and Terminator the original mono, which is something).

With any luck we'll see Vice Squad announced. We know the artwork's done so it can't be far away. Fade to Black would be great too, though they may be saving that for later in the year.

Can't wait to see the McDonald's styrofoam set (literally) in Forbidden World in sparkling 4K detail!

The Galaxy of Terror and Forbidden World steelbooks are pre-ordered.

I'm pumped about these Corman remasters.

A Carnosaur set would be amazing. The third one is pretty bad, but the first two are fun and the first one is very good (even though its a Jurassic Park ripoff).

Urrrgh...

That Forbidden World is so tempting, namely because of the new 2K transfer for the Director's Cut!

The steelbooks for Galaxy of Terror and Forbidden World are my first direct orders from Shout! since...oh gosh...friggin' September 7th of last year.

I've had my gripes with Shout!'s recent selling tactics, but as a massive fan of these two particular Alien rip-offs (I own the vinyl soundtrack of "Galaxy of Terror", for one) and that these were my most wanted 4K remastered steelbooks since they began this steelbook remaster line, pre-ordering these in advance to also receive the awesome lithographs (especially the really epic one "Forbidden World" got) were a mega no-brainer.

Can't wait for them to ship!

Rock ‘N’ Roll High School is my favorite. I hope that they upgrade it as well.

The Pit and The Pendulum, Castlefreak, The Lurking Fear, Creepozoids, Meridian, Tourist Trap (Uncut), Sorority Babes in the Slime Ball Bowl-o-rama, and Subspecies. I'd love a Scream Factory Box set of the Puppet Master films as well.

Yes these are all double dips, Yes I already own every one of them, but every single film would benefit from a re-release and would fit perfectly with the Scream Factory Brand. I also feel that Band would be a fool not to pursue such a partnership as he himself could/would continue to sell his stripped down editions while making money by allowing Scream Factory to release their own.
I don't see why Scream Factory hasn't gone after some of the better 90's Full Moon stuff, like the titles from the Charles Band boxset: Arcade, Bad Channels, Shadowzone, Netherworld... There's some good stuff there, though maybe not as popular as they'd like it to be. We know they've worked with Band before (letting him release those Empire films in his own boxset), so I hope it's something they consider.

I also wouldn't be surprised to see I Know What You Did Last Summer show up in a CE. Maybe a trilogy.

IKWYDLS is the best "serious" slasher homage of that late 90's slasher revival period. It actually feels like it could've been made in the 80's so I'm also hoping for a Collector's Edition. I also like the sequel but don't actually remember if I saw the third film lol.

Still wondering why the heck Shout still hasn't picked up Mothman Prophecies. That's an obvious choice for a pickup.

Now this is a double dip I could get excited about. The serious lack of special features on this movie has annoyed me for years at this point. Although the fact it's Sony doesn't give me much confidence for upgraded video.

Don't see them putting it under Scream Factory or Shout Select, but I suppose it could happen as a general Shout release.

We all know Mill Creek are a law unto themselves, but it might be significant that they re-issued this on their recent 'Queens of Scream' triple pack. Normally I'd say this means Sony can't/won't licence out to Scream, but given the number of titles we've seen released by Mill Creek not long after they've been released by Twilight Time or indeed Scream, maybe it can work the other way round also?

Couldn't agree more, Great Owl: The Ramones, Mary Woronov, Paul Bartel, Dick Miller and the inimitable P.J.Soles are a blast, and this movie remains great cult fun. The soundtrack on the current Blu was recycled from the previous DVD and would surely benefit from a lossless upgrade...and I never could find that Eli Roth commentary for the trailer listed as a supplement on the back cover.

Great stuff. Next it's surely time for our Hammer title (or two) for the month.

I'm very happy about the Lewton, and could well be happy about the Hammer(s) depending on the title(s), but as I said before, Scream's monthly formula of late is becoming a little predictable. Still, there's only 4 Lewtons (if they have them all) and at best 3 possible Corman steelbooks left now, so things might get a bit of a shake-up in a few months.
