Yup that's what I read on Twitter.

Found this too:

"-English names used for all characters including creatures, humans and even the nicknames of the guest characters' Pokémon in the subtitles.

-some dubisms used when translating team rocket's motto and during an added joke where Brock hits on Neesha involving "jelly donuts"."

I'm looking forward to a Black & White movie collection. I didn't think Viz would keep these coming. Hopefully the Kalos films are up next in 2020.

I’m happy to see another movie collection coming out, I just hope it’s a SteelBook like the others.

Oooh. I'll still be waiting for that Lucario/Ranger double feature, but this is certainly tempting.

Why the heck haven't they released those 2 on Blu-ray yet? Back in 2015, TPCI created updated trailers for their HD digital release.

Wouldn't surprise me if the subs they used were based off the script for the dub.

Maybe Viz forgot they have them, they were the first ones they got and it split Advanced in half (2 by Miramax, two by Viz) so maybe they just didn't realize that D&P wasn't the first generation they had lol

I'll get it, even though I had the Aussie solo release of Kyurem already.

I honestly prefer the normal cases to a steelbook, but it's weird they didn't do a limited edition as a steelbook then have the normal as an amaray case. I have the first two steelbook releases, if I could get the normal ones cheap enough I'd just buy them again lol

Viz seems to have abandoned Steelbook releases. The last I remember was Hunter X Hunter Set 1 through Best Buy. The other Pokemon ones were replaced with standard copies.

Aren't all the rerelease of the movies on Blu Ray on a single disc vs multiple discs in the steelbooks?

The rerelease of movies 1-3 is on a single disc. The Diamond and Pearl re-release is on two discs.

I personally like the discs being condensed to one or two per release. It is better for binge watching, as lazy as that sounds.

Take this with a grain of salt. I received emails from Amazon that 3 of my Viz manga releases were delayed by a month, only to have them reversed within a few days. Viz's website still has the July release date as well.
It has been officially pushed back to 8/20, per Viz's website

Speaking of the Diamond and Pearl movie releases, are the encodes on the 2-disc regular set released earlier this year exactly the same as the ones on the 4-disc Steelbook? I imagine they upgraded the discs from four BD-25s to two BD-50s in order to fit two movies per disc. But are there any changes in picture quality? I don't see why they would alter anything, but I'd like to confirm anyway.

Also, since they haven't reviewed any of these films on the website yet, how would you score the picture and audio quality, for those who have either set? I'm specifically interested in The Rise of Darkrai, if you need to know. Thank you all in advance.

One of the Japanese guests was kind enough to answer my question at the Q&A after the screening. There may very well be future opportunities to see Japanese-language (with English subtitles) Pokémon animation down the line. Rica Matsumoto proclaimed "You can count on it!!"

Saw this on FandomPost earlier, thought it was worth noting.
