Diabolik has an Extreme Predjudice mediabook available for those of you who don't want to be held hostage by uncertainty.

The same as every other release of the film.
I'm not sure that's correct.

The version currently streaming on Vudu is 1.20:1, as shown in the caps here:

https://www.nitrateville.com/viewtopic.php?t=28489

The 2007 Optimum/Studiocanal UK DVD that I have is 1.20:1, there are caps of it here:

https://the.hitchcock.zone/wiki/Blac...sing_(UK,_2007)

You can click on any of the caps there and you'll see comparison caps from the 2002 German Arthaus DVD and the 2005 French Studiocanal DVD. They're all roughly 1.20:1 as well:

https://the.hitchcock.zone/cgi-bin/c...pl?compare=11d

The other caps are from older public domain versions, so they're not really useful.

It appears that every authorized release of the film has been approximately 1.20:1 up till now.

The worst part about Extreme Prejudice is that it isn't even top-tier Hill...yet it's been so poorly treated on home video that we're all drooling for an announcement.

Thank you.
Yes and if I may add to that, the classic Lynda Carter thriller from 1982, HOTLINE. It’s long overdue for an HD upgrade.

It's one of his best. My only issue with it is the cheesy 80s score, if a Walter Hill movie ever needed a Ry Cooder score, it would be Extreme Prejudice. I know it's Jerry Goldsmith, but a bad Goldsmith.

My Walter Hill top 10:
The Driver
Southern Comfort
48 Hrs.
Extreme Prejudice
The Long Riders
Streets of Fire
The Warriors
Hard Times
Red Heat
Johnny Handsome

[Show spoiler]
My Walter Hill top 10:
The Driver
Southern Comfort
48 Hrs.
Extreme Prejudice
The Long Riders
Streets of Fire
The Warriors
Hard Times
Red Heat
Johnny Handsome
It'd be outside my top-10, but that's beside the point...seeing you comment directly about a title you've eluded all questions about (even if it pertains to the actual film and not a potential licensing deal) is, to quote my boys @GrandFunkRailroad, SOME KIND OF WONDERFUL!

Props once again to y'all for your sublime work on The Long Riders; can only home we see such similar treatment for Extreme Prejudice and...drum roll...The Driver.

We've asked everyone to post their critical discussions regarding KL product on this other page and not here.

Critical discussion Thread: Your thoughts on Kino-Lorber Blu-rays
https://forum.blu-ray.com/showthread...1#post16775861

This thread is for announcements, updates, answering some questions, confirming rumors (when we can) and film discussion.

We just don't need a repeat of the last 24 hours where a bunch of people got banned. We will respond to reasonable questions on the Critical Discussion thread and will "try" our best to stay away from arguments. We just don't want this thread to turn into the Code Red or Dark Force threads.

Trying to move on from everything, can you tell us what titles did the best during the recent KLSC sale and what were the biggest hauls?

According to Kino on their FB page, Alan Spencer was approached to do a commentary track for THE NUDE BOMB and declined.

Alan Spencer has now stated on both Facebook and Twitter that he was never approached and that he would have done it if asked out of respect for Don Adams, who he knew personally.

I'll try to get more data. I think LOST HIGHWAY was the best seller, it's usually the newer titles first time on sale.

It's possible a publicist/agent declined on his behalf without letting him know. Such things have been known to occur.

One of our SVPs personally sent him a message through Facebook on Jan 15, 2019 and he never responded. We don't make stuff up.

Alan has a popular Twitter page and then there's the Trailers From Hell website so he's easily contactable. By restricting contact to Facebook messages, there's every possibility the message may have gone straight to the Message Requests folder which a lot of people don't even know exists.
