Extensive damages, and expensive repairs...$2 billion.
Should they rebuild in a free-earthquake zone, like Nevada?
Who's going to pay the bill; Mexico, China, Russia, the Taliban, Iran, MbS, US taxpayers, US Air Force pension funds?

When I got time and motivation I'll check if I can locate some garden pictures...Victoria, Butchart Gardens.

Doubt if we will ever see this in the USA.

I believe this is the biggest difference I have ever seen between static and dynamic metadata.

Torture test is torture test, did the C9 have its own dynamic mapping enabled with the HDR10 signal in the above photo comparison?

I would say that the chances of a or are pretty good.

Edit: We will probably never know. After thinking on it a bit, should it not have been turned off? I know LG and Sony have their own “dynamic tone mapping” that is very good, but then that would only show their expertise in displaying an HDR10 signal, correct? So my question is this indeed a fair comparison between static and dynamic metadata content for this specific set???

Since signs are coded.....folks may wonder what the heck did IP stand for?
Well, for that, see the hint in quotation marks which I gave back in Aug. 2018 - https://forum.blu-ray.com/showthread...o#post15408126

IBC2019 Conference: Beyond the pixel race: Preserving creative intent from UHD and HDR to 8K and beyond -

^ yes, perhaps from an inexperienced consumer perspective (who, for that matter, are clueless as to what IBC is) that is correct, but Blu-ray.com readers already knew how to “do it” for years by having red the tech subforums here, additionally, as a bonus, they exclusively (nowhere else on thee internet) saw a focus pulled pic of the background of the Top Gun: Maverick set where the public service announcement was filmed -

Just to go back to this, I thought I'd try that same 'Glass Blowing' clip on the ZD9 and even in 4000/0.005 mastered HDR10 (the Dobly won't activate as it's using a different profile thingy) it fully resolves all the little bits in the gas gun on my regular HDR settings.

Photo below, it's MUCH darker than the other two ^ because my camera can't get the highlights otherwise, but you see what I mean. Not the exact same frame either as the 4K60 clip cripples my OPPO if I try to step frame forward, but then those two photos ^ aren't the same frame either.
