I just realized THE BLOB CE is the first SF title I've pre-ordered through them. All of my other orders have been Arrow or other labels in the past, which have arrived 3-5 weeks ahead of time.

Just curious if the Scream releases are similar through them, or if it's closer to street date/SF doesn't ship to Diabolik early.
They arrive closer to street date than other titles. I think Shout really cracked down on this particular issue. I received my copy of Vampires on Monday (a day early) and I know other members received their copies Saturday, so right around street date. Definitely not as early as the Arrow and Kino releases, though.

Target's having a Buy 2 Get 1 Free sale, which includes at least some recent and pre-order Scream & Shout titles.

A few I've come across:
https://www.target.com/p/the-blob-blu-ray/-/A-77463397
https://www.target.com/p/john-carpen...y/-/A-76847172
https://www.target.com/p/the-devil-r...y/-/A-77463439
https://www.target.com/p/private-sch...y/-/A-77463442

There's a dedicated thread in the Movie and TV Deals sub-forum that has more discussion, for anyone interested.

Do they have a promo-page or hub for that sale/deal?

I placed a large-ish order that included Fright, the only Shout title in the batch, and Diabolik didn't actually have any copies available despite the listing saying "In Stock" (maybe they had sold out just as I ordered). This delayed my order to my annoyance but they were kind enough to pull a copy from someone else's order that contained distant preorders and added it to mine. Maybe it isn't typical of them to have stock issues with Shout titles but I would allow for slight delays if I were you

Everyone is ordering less SF titles because of the MAP pricing.

Not a very good one, at least that I've found.

This lists 39,412 titles including DVD's: https://www.target.com/pl/130948157?...ue=cz41e&Nao=0

Yeah, figured it would be there usual scattered mess if they did have one, but searching for "Scream Factory" is damn near as bad on their site so. Thanks for the link though.

I'd settle for an audiobook of Legion.

Yeah, that would be nice. A divining rod, a hatbox with fake head inside, and a shovel would also be nice to have included with this release.

Ordered. I'll probably be kicking myself when they're both titles I'll need for an inevitable Scream sale (has any ever been priced lower?), but for now I'm excited to grab them.

I'm not aware of either title ever dipping below $14.95. I could see a scenario where maybe one (or both) could have dipped to $13.95 but I believe $15 is more than fair for both titles and I'd be quite shocked to see either title priced much cheaper than what you purchased them for during any upcoming Halloween sales.

I picked up several SCREAM titles (Quatermass and the Pit, The Leopard Man, and The Leech Woman) that saved me quite a bit especially with my wife's team member discount and red card.

I'm not sure I trust the packaging to buy titles with slip covers like THE BLOB and DRACULA so I stuck to titles that I wouldn't have to worry about minor damage...

I am a DIE HARD Halloween fan. I bought the 35th anniversary Blu Ray with some great material to read about Dean Cundey and how it’s the transfer her approved. Then I bought the deluxe 15 disc set back in 2014. Then bought both steelbooks of H2&3 with SF posters and 18 steelbook. But what I do is watch them from Oct 1st-31st then back on the shelf it goes until the following October. The reason I do this is 1. The Disneyland effect. If you go there too often it loses its magic. 2. It doesn’t feel right watching a Halloween movie when it isn’t October, it takes a lot of willpower sometimes because I reallyyyy want to watch them, but in the end I don’t. With October now only a few days away I am extremely excited! 🎃 🔪😳😵

I'm a bit torn about something. Shout typically "blows their wad" early (announces large blocks of their release schedule at a time). I'm a proponent of this way of doing things but that means there's nothing to look forward to in terms of monthly announcements. So should they do what Vinegar Syndrome and Arrow do and give us monthly announcements or should they reveal their lineup in one large block twice a year? What do you guys think?

Aside from the SDCC announcements (which will typically reveal most of the November and December slate, and some of Jan-March depending on how many titles they announce), special announcements outside of the monthly release schedules are rare. So, for example, we're still likely to get another 3-4 announcements for January, another 4-5 for February, and then, so long as nothing is delayed or spoiled (or subject to a special one-off announcement, perhaps on Halloween), March to October should be all new to us, and revealed around the first week of the new month. Of course, that's not to say we might not have a good idea what's coming based on leaks and informed guesswork (more Hammer, more Universal sets, Freaked, perhaps The Terminator), but obviously there will be a lot of surprises in there too.

Random question for anyone who might know: would it be possible for Scream to release "My Mom's a Werewolf" at some point?

Mill Creek has it out on DVD but it's pan & scan and compressed to hell with several other movies on the same disc.
