I'd really like to get these films without having to buy all of the A&C films. Maybe Shout could just do their own A&C meet the Monsters set. The Universal Monsters set already came with three copies of A&C Meet Frankenstein, what's one more?
I love the Universal sets and will have them all (I have the first 4 and pre-ordered the 5th) but I am not an A&C fan so while I would not be opposed to it (I am not OCD or a completist), I wouldn't buy it....

i've got 3 movies sitting across the bay from me at a receiver destination for the last three days. took a month to get here. the wait is getting kinda dire. thankfully some arrow releases came in so its not too bad (and my backlog of movies to watch is still pretty large, despite my best efforts).

For April 8th: The Dungeonmaster / Eliminators. Even just an update would be fine as well~if it is back ordered or just plain gone. They must really be using a skeleton crew during the virus~even more than other companies

Looks like Shout Factory’s favorite art plagiarist is back with a piece of professional, commissioned art in which he gets paid to take pictures of a Hot Toys action figure of The Crow and photoshop them.

I think I read about this controversy before a while back on this thread. Any link to some discussion about it?

This morning, on pay day, I placed a pre-order for Scream Factory's August lineup (Ghost Ship, The Phantom of the Opera, and Universal Horror Collection: Volume 6).

I always place a batch pre-order for the latest Scream/Shout announcements at the 15th of each month, hence ordering the Blu-rays three months in advance.

I'm resigned to the notion that I'll be waiting forever for some of these discs, seeing as how several of them have been pushed back several months, but Shout ships each one as it comes available, so that's a great thing.

Anybody know what Shout's response time to support email's has been lately? I got an order in today & the disc is broken in pieces. Just trying to gauge when I should expect some sort of repose; I know they say about 72 business hours; but has anyone's experience been much longer than that?

Response time for me has been around 2 weeks.

I placed an order at the end of April, and it still hasn't shipped. All titles that are going OOP, so you would think they would ship out. I placed an order with Kino around the same time and got it a week ago.

I understand they are low staffed, but man this is some slow shipping going on here. Even for pandemic standards.

some of the generic verbiage in their emails states that replacement items will take about 3 weeks to fulfill.

here's all their T/C's:

Quote:
Our shipping depots are still open and operational, and we are still shipping product to fulfill orders. However, please note that due to the sheer volume of orders we have received and due to the social distancing practices implemented at our depots, there may be delays in our average ship times listed below.

We will notify you when we ship. Orders ship from several locations around the US. If you placed a pre-order your product is secure as you have paid in full.

Please note that each item in your order may ship from a different warehouse. You will receive separate shipment notifications from each warehouse. Standard delivery in the U.S. is 5-10 business days. Certain out of stock items may take up to 25 business days to ship. If your order includes pre-order items, those items will ship to arrive on or before street date. Pre-order release dates are subject to change without notice.

***Please note that due to the COVID-19 outbreak and the recommendations of the Center for Disease Control, our customer service team will not have regular access to our physical space and mail facilities. As a result of this disruption, our current response time to e-mails may be 24-72 business hours. If this is a replacement request, replacements may take up to 3 weeks to fulfill. Thank you for your understanding.***

Anyone still waiting on a copy of Slither? I ordered that, MBV and Urban Legend on April 20th. I emailed Shout and they said Slither was backordered and I finally received the other two about a week ago. I don't order from them very often, how long could backorders take to come back into stock? I shouldn't be complaining really with everything going on right now. It's just kind of odd to me that I ordered some Zavvi titles from overseas about a week and a half before my Scream Factory titles and received all of those before the Scream titles even shipped.

Again, I don't come to this thread very often so I don't know what's happening usually with this company. Usually I order Scream titles from Amazon, but they've been prioritizing "essential" items so I decided to order directly from Scream's site.

The one title that still hasn’t shipped from my big sale order is the Chuck Norris flick Missing in Action. Too funny

Without corona, it took two months to get Candyman 2. The same for Lady in White. But they do eventually get there, unlike many sellers like BB and DeepD who say they have stuff in stock but dont really and as there oop they cant get more and cancel. Scream has never let me down with the oop stuff even pressing more to fulfill orders as they did with the two titles I mentioned. Same with non oop back orders. But a one to two month wait has been the norm for me on backorders.

OOP Warning for anyone who hasn't picked these up:

A Facebook promo was posted earlier today by Shout! that listed:

CANDYMAN: FAREWELL TTF
BAD INFLUENCE
TERROR VISION/Video Dead
JOSHUA TREE

as "running very low."

Err, I have a feeling I'm not going to get a replacement for my Candyman disc.

Bummed I missed out on Shout's Collector's Edition for Invasion of the Body Snatchers. Was going to purchase it when I pre-ordered Escape From L.A. last week

hoping for a 4k release of that one. Would have liked to have the Collector's Edition too but until then, the MGM release is fine.

I remember seeing it or part of it on TV eons ago, but I don't remember much of the movie. I might pick it up myself, for old time's sake.
