Might be a good idea to state which ones are BDRs.

Wouldn’t that be obvious with the ones without the BD logo in the top? Plus I can’t check the discs to confirm

I imported the BD of Terrified/Aterrados and was disappointed to find that it only includes SDH subtitles. So every time there is a sound effect or the score starts, there is a title, which I find distracting, especially in such a visually dark film. I believe SDH should always be included but not as the only choice. It also includes the English language dub, but they shouldn't assume that viewers will default to the dub and neglect those who prefer a film in its original language.

This may be a general thing about Shudder. I'm a huge horror fan but I live in Germany and they only offered films with the German dub, not a original, subtitled version. So I never subscribed.

Sensational thread!

I have linked it under Related Threads in the OP of Found Footage Horror on blu-ray.

The Furies was a weird one. I enjoyed it tho. Still need to watch The Beach House in full. From the parts I've seen tho, I think I'll like it. Another weird one from what I've seen.

I'm hoping that Jay Baruchel's recent horror, Random Acts of Violence, gets a Shudder release.

Edit: Totally forgot about Host. Would love that one too. If something like Scare Package can get a release why can't one of the biggest horror's of the year (Host) and a somewhat star studded feature (Random Acts), get releases?

I own Creepshow and it's stacked with extras. I understand that's a big name release, but I wish they would at least have an interview or commentary on these. If so, I'd buy more.

That's mostly true, but I can confirm that Cursed Films is a pressed disc, despite the image not displaying the BD logo.

Hopefully one day smarten up and repress all of these on proper discs. I would have bought several of these had they not been BD-Rs.

That’s why sometimes I’ll go for the pressed DVD over the BD-R.

As mentioned in the OP, Host is getting a UK Blu from Second Sight. Anna and the Apocalypse (another Vertigo Releasing license) was region free, so there’s a possibility this will be too, although Revenge was locked.

I'm a fan of Region A. That's why I'm hoping it gets a US release.
Same with Scare Me.

Feb 16, 2021 for Random Acts of Violence

I'm sure Scare Me and Host will get some Region A releases soon after this.

Scare Me is going to On-Demand in December so I assume a Blu-ray release will follow.
