welp, Zavvi's window for delivery is closed as of today. Going to send an email off and just wait and hope it shows up one day. Really never going to use them again, this is ridiculous.

A slight bit of corner damage on my Amazon copy but good shape otherwise. Thankfully it's not as big as I thought it would be but I'd still downgrade to a standard release if it comes down the line.

Haven’t received mine as of Friday. They shipped it out on the 15th, and still nothing. I received previous orders from Zavvi and they arrived with a week. Can’t say who dropped the ball with this one. It’s coming from USPS, and it’s really starting to irritate me that I don’t have this yet.

One other thing to mention, how in the world can this not be tracked? Disappointed in Zavvi. Everything in this world can be tracked, but not their items. What a joke!!!!!!

flash22, I feel for you. Mine shipped on the 15th, and still absolutely nothing. Zavvi or the USPS really blows! There’s no reason why it should take this long to get it.

I got more info on what happened with International Shipping from DEFF Yesterday.

I e-mailed them and I got this response.

Everything seems to be fine currently.

Our shipping was temporaily suspended yesterday evening as we was reviewing our worldwide shipping rates as our shipping provider has recently announced changes to our rates. Now that we have completed this review we have re-activated our shipping service to the US however the standard shipping rate of £19.95 is only for orders up to a maximum weight (including packaging) of 2kgs. On any occasion the weight exceeds the maximum delivery weight an additional delivery fee maybe required. We are working on some changes to our system that will show you the total shipping cost based on weight which should be live on our website within the next 10 days.

Thanks for that. I am definitely ordering the Demons set from them when it goes live. They seem like the best option for international shipping IMO. No one else ships as fast as they do and their packing is impeccable.

Yes, thanks for the update, Powell - I knew there was something going on.

And although I don't plan on getting the Demons set myself, I can't agree more with the general consensus that Deff is fantastic. After my first experience with the Dawn of the Dead boxset, I've placed three more orders. Three. I managed to not partake in any Black Friday sales this year (mostly out of spite), but also because all my extra coin went to Deff.

Finally got an email from Diabolik this morning to say it was shipped.

So I heard that people were having an issue playing the Region B bonus disc on their Region A broken-lock players because the disc has a function that stops bypasses. I tried it on my Panasonic DMP-BD30 and had no issues. It seems like no one else could trick the disc, or haven’t figured out the trick I use.
1. Let the disc play normally until you get the “Region Locked” screen.
2. Press Functions, then it’ll give you a top menu option (pressing top menu button on the remote before or during the screen won’t work).
3. This in-system top menu button lets you bypass the lock.
If you already tried this trick, tell me. If not, give it a try.

finally got my copy from Amazon UK and...

the corners are dinged to hell. I actually rarely get upset over damage to special packaging because it's gonna happen but in my case this is pretty bad it's like someone just kicked around the box whenever they could during transit so now I gotta ask:

for things sold and shipped directly by amazon uk if you were going to do a return internationally does the customer foot the cost? does second sight offer any replacement packaging directly? because I ain't opening this thing until I can find some new packaging. So painful to know I have this thing of greatness and... can't even watch it.
