For what it's worth, the first disc, the 1940s cartoons, appear to be unaffected and look mostly beautiful without Photoshop titles. |

Good to hear the new-to-disc 1940's shorts were spared, at least.
Bill Hunt posted the title card for Racketeer Rabbit and I don't see any telltale signs of digital monkeying. Gonna wait for the full prognosis on the whole set, though. https://twitter.com/BillHuntBits/sta...656770/photo/2 |

I just watched the first 2 episodes on disc 3, “Bugsy and Mugsy” and “Show Biz Bugs”. Both shorts looked gorgeous, including the titles. I didn’t see anything that wasn’t original. The restoration is top notch.
As mentioned earlier the only option for redeeming the digital code seems to be with VUDU, which is disappointing. I don’t have an account with them and don’t plan to create one. I wish we had the option to add this to our Apple TV account like all the other codes I’ve used up until now. I also checked out “His Hare Raising Tale” since a poster mentioned they were concerned that the Title or credits may have been messed with. They look perfect and original to me. I took a couple photos of my tv with my phone (forgive the reflections). ![]() ![]() Here is a link to original title according a fan site. Looks identical. https://looneytunes.fandom.com/wiki/...e_Raising_Tale The opening part of that short also looks good. I see nothing at that bothers me and I’m pretty picky about things like this. ![]() ![]()

Looks great! I really want to get this set, but I don't know if I should pay more money and get the current Funko edition, or if I should take the risk and wait for a possible cheaper version

Originally, it gave me an error message, and then when I tried to redeem it again, it said it was already redeemed. I'm gonna get in touch with WB if I have to in order to get this resolved... |

This is what the HBO Max version looks like.
![]() The telltale signs are the dissolves between the titles. If they're fake, they'll look more like a Windows Movie Maker slideshow than authentic film. Last edited by Leviathan; 12-02-2020 at 01:48 AM. |

Tell-tale sign is also that the Bugs Bunny opening animation is looped/reversed.
New version: https://media.giphy.com/media/V3Onj8...qCzX/giphy.gif Low-rez from the titles as filmed here (ancient transfer): https://media.giphy.com/media/ebAlUa...hroN/giphy.gif It's going to be really obvious that Bugs doesn't go for a second bite in reversed animation after you've already seen it a dozen times properly on the set. |

I couldn’t get the digital code to work. E-mailed WB. Now to wait and see what they say. Also I was looking on Vudu and it doesn’t appear they even have this set, so this may be why the error is happening.

I think the problem is it is not on Vudu yet. I tried searching for it, and can't find it. I just hope that when it does show up, Vudu remembers that I already redeemed the code. Anyway, I sampled several cartoons on all three discs and they looked good to me. The only regret is Warner did not include a 3-D version of Lumber Jack-Rabbit. It's a great cartoon, and it would have been nice to finally watch it in 3-D. |

This has been typical of Vudu, they are really behind when it comes to bundle codes. Usually the UHD ones are available in HD, and so redeem HD until Vudu fixes it. Or they take a few days or a few weeks to add something like this so it works. So might work tomorrow, might work 3 weeks (or 3 months, or 3 years) from now. |
