How many discs per season?

Average of how many episodes per disc?

Separate cases for each Season, or several jumbo cases?

Are the films included in the set (The Ark of Truth & Continuum)?

Sample the image from earlier seasons, to see what the image looks like (HD transfers or Upscales?).

Have they improved the color?
Is it interlaced?

- aspect ratio of the seasons (16x9 or 4:3)
- general PQ
- general audio mix used (DD 2.0 or 5.1, or lossless TrueHD or DTS Master HD)

I ordered mine the day the news popped up on the thread, and it won't be here until the 29th.

1. 4 discs per season.

2. Films not included.

3. Added a couple of pics (I am not good at this). A screenshot from Season 10 and Season 1.

4. Dolby Digital 5.1 and Stereo sound.

5. Later seasons are HD and the earlier seasons are upscaled.

6. The discs come in envelope sleeves inside a large case. See picture.

7. Shows are not interlaced.

8. Picture looks good to me. Not a ton of fine detail but didn't expect that either.

Aspect ratio is 16x9 for all episodes.

Nice. Looks like they are using blue cases for their Blu-Ray's instead of the black case.

Since you are using VLC, click "Video" on the top menu then "Take Snapshot"

and post that image (found in c:\Users\YOUR USER NAME\Pictures\) from season 1 or 2 please

Having only looked at it for a couple of minutes I would not say it is a substantial improvement over the VEI DVD set released earlier this year. You do lose all of the compression artifacts which annoy me so I am happy with this "upgrade." Certainly looks way better than the previous MGM DVDs.

If you can export the photos in png, it would be much better, since jpeg are highly compressed photos and lose a lot of quality. A video sample of an episode of the first season would be appreciated

If you try to add it to your cart from the link in the OP, you get to a stage where it asks you what country you're in and the only options are US/Canada so I assume not.

Looks like Amazon Canada have it now though, so that's an option if the set turns out ok. Assuming this is the same set, which it seems to be to me:
