What happened to the YouTube icon when replying to a topic?

There was a YouTube icon? I always just copied and pasted the url of the YouTube video into the body of the post and it automatically embeds it there.

Correct. Copy & paste the URL. Only the URL will show, but click on PREVIEW POST if you have any doubts before sending and you'll see it .

Right on, I knew I had posted YouTube videos in the past. I guess I just assumed there was an icon like like another message board I use with this same layout. I'll give it another try just in case:

Have you clicked that link? Looks like they're saying you need to update your browser.

No, it explicitly says my browser is up to date.

It is completely useless and annoying. I've tried just putting the link text in the body of the post (the way it's been until recently), and also wrapping the link text with URL or image tags. Nothing works. (FWIW, I still see other posters' YT vids normally.)

Where do I get this "watch" URL when I'm in the YouTube app? My URL looks like this

Could the issue be the mobile link you're using?

Test:

URL I used: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ql_Elumc--I

BTW, you can type [ noparse ] and [ /noparse ] (without spaces) between the URL to show the full address, like I did above.

When I am in the YouTube app and I am on the video, I click on the "Share" button. Then select "copy link" just as I always have in the past when it was working. Here's the link:
