It will probably be like the first season a paper slipbox instead of a chipboard box. It really ticks me off when AoA pulls that crap.

All the negative responses to S2, made me not watch it and hesitate to buy S1. I still might have bought both because I like S1 a lot and the completionist in me would want both. However, cutting corners by aniplex just makes it easier for me to say fuhgeddaboudit.

The AL release has a rigid box for Season 1. Honestly though, I think the first season works on it’s own and doesn’t really need a follow up.

I agree with that and have considered importing before, but its kind of dropped on my priority list. I may reconsider depending on what the prices are in a few months and if its still available.

They'll do this but not Kaguya Season 2 BD? I'm honestly baffled that they had enough confidence in Neverland Season 2 to constitute an AoA Blu Ray release when it's pretty widely known that it was complete trash.

Apparently the Scotland Loves Anime extra on Funimation's Blu-ray of 'Josee, the Tiger and the Fish' is encoded in 25fps. Can anybody confirm that?

My guess is Love Live will get a Limited Edition only release for Season 2 that later becomes too hard to complete the series with Season 1 until a full series set comes out because of Season 2 being a little too Limited if not putting out a standard Season 2 release. So get ready to own Season 1 without getting Season 2 right away again.
