Yep, a very uninspired packaging...

19 discs means it doesn't have any exclusive/bonus disc specific for this set.

Thank God—what a slap in the face that would be to all of us who’ve been collecting each season as it comes.

Jesus, Sony just casually throwing in a series finale spoiler image in their Amazon item description. Bold move!

Ok, I no longer feel bad about buying seasons 2-5 from Australia earlier in the year at under $20 each...

Why? It's not uncommon for boxsets to have exclusive bonus discs (Breaking Bad, Lost, Halloween Deluxe just off the top of my head). It should be considered a possibility when buying individual seasons.

If it had one, I might as well say "Thank God- what a slap in the face it would've been if there was nothing extra for those of us who waited for the complete series!"

To be clear, I don't care either way in this particular case. I just can't say I agree with the sentiment.

And it’s always a slap in the face to season buyers.

Your reward for waiting is getting the clean, consolidated complete set packaging you waited so patiently for. It’s not like the studio has any incentive to reward anyone who waits to buy their product anyway.

Obviously the studio choosing to include exclusive content isn't to "reward" people for anything, but to entice customers into buying (or rebuying) a premium product. Do you also consider new bonus features a slap in the face? How about new transfers? Collectible and exclusive packaging? I guess I just see it as a part of the physical media song and dance.

Yeah, and the artwork is crap as well. This is not going to look good next to the edition of the Breaking Bad set I have with hard case and digibooks.

I would vote with my dollar and not buy at all, but in this day and age, that's sending the wrong message. I'm glad to get physical media at all anymore.

That artwork looks so fake, would Sony actually release something so poor looking?

This is especially disappointing since Better Call Saul had fairly good seasons artwork throughout.

Even though shelf space is finite, I think I'm going to hang onto my individual season sets rather than pick this up.

I was also holding out some hope that we'd be getting a Breaking Bad 4K release around the time that BCS wrapped up, but that's not looking too likely at the moment.

Disappointing looking set. You get something awesome like the Breaking Bad barrel set and then you get… this.

Either I'm missing it or your referring to the image for Season 6?

It's really not a big spoiler out of context as you'd expect that character to make an appearance *somehow* by the end of the show.

Compare the state of physical media in 2013 to 2022 and ye answer shall be laid bare.

Knowing he's in it isn't exactly a huge spoiler or anything, but part of the fun of the final season was wondering when and how the cameos were going to take place. The seasons 1-5 images provided are pretty standard (although throwing in McKean's season 4 cameo is a little odd), but then you hit the season 6 image and they're just like "here's Walt's one scene in the final episode!"

Feels like a bit of a desperate marketing move, I guess.

Yes, a disappointing set, but I will be voting with my wallet and getting it. As another commenter said, voting with your wallet by not getting it is not going to send a message about packaging.
