Finished this last night, it was ok. Not bad but certainly not great. The new kids were all pretty one dimensional but this was only ten episodes and maybe a second season can flesh them out more.
The best laughs came from the legacy characters. Over the weekend one of the cable channels had a 70's marathon on and it was a reminder of how good and funny that show was.

Finished this last night and thought this was wonderful, wasn't sure about the new kids at first but they won me over by the end. Glad they made this and it exists, if there is a 2nd season I hope we can have more of the original cast.

We deserve at least three seasons of this. They owe us.

Finished the season last night. My 6/10 rating that I initially gave it seems about right. A few of the gang developed some character depth toward the end but Leia and Ozzie had no real depth. It's really bad that Leia's only defining quality was an interest in boys as she is supposed to be the central character of the show and had the most screen time for character development to happen.

If it gets a 2nd season, we'll continue watching it, but our lives wouldn't be over if it doesn't.

Finished this last night too. Episodes I laughed out loud in were 3, 4, 9, 10. The rest were decent but nothing special. The actress who played Leia was really good. I liked all the girls, even though I barely learned the other 2 name's. Ozzie was why I liked ep's 3, 4, he was really funny in them. Only reason I knew Jay's name was cause Leia kept babbling on about him. The Nikki girl (barely learned her name too haha) is gorgeous, I liked her bonding with Red. And the actors who play Red and Kitty look just like they did in the original show too. I liked the show well enough if it comes back for S2, I'll still watch. Oh, and I still don't like the pot smoking scenes, outside the one when Leia and Gwen went all crazy after. That was done well. I know I'm in the minority there, didn't with the original show either. I like all the other stuff (for the most part).

Watched the first 3eps today. Nothing in it that makes me believe it will top That 70’s Show, but it’s still a easy and enjoyable watch.

Pleasantly surprised, given Netflix's affinity for gutting shows before their prime.

I'm glad it's getting 16 episodes. And we need more Eric appearances.

I'm hoping they take the feedback from viewers and make the kids less one-dimensional.

I'm thinking they'll do 2 8 episode blocks. First 8 after the summer, say August or something and the other 8 around the holidays.

I'm a fan of the original show and this was watchable, but barely. It seemed like a Disney channel version of the original show. Ozzie had some fun one-liners, but seemed way too young for the part. He looks 11 or something. Kitty and Red still steal every scene they're in. The other cameos were fun, though Fez was scary to look at. Typical person that peaked in high school and still acts like a 16-year old when they're 40ish.
Donna just looks like Tori Amos.

I'm curious how they'll continue the show though. Is Leia just gonna spend every summer with her grandparents or will she eventually stay there more permanently?

It's an okay filler-show, but nothing special.

I'm not sure if we will get something that quick... but maybe? They have not even started filming anything yet and it is already February. I don't want them to rush into it either because I'd like to see more OG cast appearances. I am hoping we can at least get ONE episode that is fully about them for an actual reunion. I'd like to see everyone together in a scene.

Just keep building with the kids as well. I think the show is going to be able to grow and be pretty good. It is nice Netflix is showing support as well with not only a 2nd season but an extended episode count.

Topher's show is still pending as to whether or not it will be renewed for a 4th season. If it is cancelled, hopefully they will try to nab him at least as a recurring role for season 2.

Season 2 (or the next 8 episodes anyway) has dropped today.

Seriously; the old cast must know that the writing is terrible in this... right? Right?

They probably just love the screams from the audience when they do anything other than sit there.

Binged it yesterday. More of the same really. Not great, not terrible, just kinda.... there.

Red still makes me chuckle though & a couple of the cameos were fun.

Wonder if they'll ever manage to drag Topher back?

Damn. No Eric this year?

The kids are mid for sure, which sucks because That '70s Show was all about the kids.
