Default The "If Looks Could Kill Deserves a DVD Release" Thread

NOTE: Apparantly WB offers an "on demand" type printing of this, but it should have an official mainstream release.

http://www.wbshop.com/If-Looks-Could...,pd.html?cgid=

Seriously...what the frak? How is THIS not on DVD? I realize it failed miserably at the box office and isn't regarded as a great film, but I personally love it.

Fun spoof of the Bond type films.

And the character is apparantly on Twitter. lol

I remember loving this as a kid . . . it's one of those that I'm afraid to watch again because it's almost guaranteed to disappoint.

It's no "Never Too Young to Die" with John Stamos, Vanity & Gene Simmons, though.

i thought the same thing. I loved it when I was younger, and have a feeling it just will not hold up well.

I love this film even today at age 42. It is a great film still.. I ripped the movie off my VHS copy so I can watch it anytime on my media center. I still watch it from time to time.. it holds up well and is a great to watch.

Blu Ray version would be very nice.. I would buy for sure.

I might watch this again this weekend. Been awhile.

Thumbs up Looks great.

I haven't seen it, but it looks good. I like Richard Grieco. One of my favorites isn't on DVD either, it's called Big Man On Campus. It's hilarious, but the company went bankrupt. So it will never see a DVD release. Maybe you could start a petition to get it released. I'd sign it.

I had a dubbed copy of this on VHS when I was 13. Not a good movie but, at least worthy of a DVD release. I mean, WTF? I've seen some pretty low budget B movies (Sorority Babes IN The Slimeball Bowlarama) on DVD. Why not If Looks Could Kill?

Another movie with similar problems was Sidekicks with Chuck Norris.. love that movie too but never out on DVD and probably never will be. I ripped my VHS copy of sidekicks too. Also have Fat Man on Campus on VHS too.. another good one not released on dvd.

So, this movie is actually coming on Encore! Wam at 3:30 Central Time today 11/12/10. May try to give it a watch to see if it is any good still, or if it is just a fond childhood memory.

Just finished watching it. Still actually not too bad. It's a bit corny and goofy, but that is part of the charm of it. It holds up as well as the 80s Bond movies with Timothy Dalton do, and I am a big fan of those. I also forgot that Roger Daltrey (Lead Singer of the Who) played a very small part as a British Secret Agent, and that Gabrielle Anwar (now Fiona on Burn Notice) played a big part in the movie.

how does this terrific movie, Not have a remastered bluray, 4k, as well as a Digital
Warner bros. Needs to get on it
even if it means including if looks could kill with Other spy/detective comedies for warner, new line, and mgm in a spy/detective movie collection that is Not only in the action genre alone, But also is in the comedy genre too, and family genre too
