Kinda cool to see the three pugs racing down mulsanne together and then pitting at the same time.

And corvette + engine roar + Dunlop bridge + sunrise = pure beauty.

Edit: GAH the #74 vette clipped the inside too much, overcorrected and slammed into a Porsche. I don't see how it can continue, lot of damage. Shame, they were leading their class too...

If you aren't watching right now, you're really missing it. Audi & Peugeot within a second, Wurz within a few more seconds. And they're driving like mad men. With six hours left!!

Audi used the Ford GT in traffic to pass for the lead.

I'm watching. And remote racing Le Mans with my 3 PSN accounts.

Robertson Racing, from here in Georgia, running 5th and last in the AM class. The other 6 have retired. I know just running this race, with a Ford GT no less, is their lifelong dream. Its a husband wife team and today is their anniversary. They actually have 2 cars, their other is a Pro car and was the first reserve car but no one dropped. http://www.robertsonrace.com/


After today's incidents with Audi, expect big changes to the amateur class including possibly eliminating it.

No, I don't see that happening. Definitely some questionable stuff out there, but I doubt they'll suddenly take a class out, there's been worse.

And half of these accidents can arguably be chalked up to overzealous driving maneuvers. The first Audi driver was way too aggressive for that early in the race.

Well, the top tier drivers were complaining before the race about the driving of some of the other drivers saying they should not be out there at all. They said the issue is compounded with the lower power of the LMP classes this year in relation to the GT cars and not being about to get away from them as fast. The announcers said there have been close incidents before the two Audi incidents involving the gentleman drivers. Audi is a major draw to Le Mans. They were visiting the Stewards after the McNish crash and the driver in the second car accident was disqualified, even though he says he did not touch the Audi. I see changes, possibly big ones with Audi and possibly even Peugeot demanding it.


Looks like the GT Academy winner and the Shift 2 star drivers have their cars in second place in their respective divisions. Robertson racing moves up to 5th now that the third driver, the pro of the three is behind the wheel. In the Am class you get one gold or silver driver in the team.

Nice to see Playstation stickers on several cars.

Eh, some people such as Alain Prost have been saying for years there are too many amateurs in the race (and he won't drive it) but that hasn't stopped anyone. I just don't see the organizers making a huge change at this point, even if Audi whine about it. Maybe Peugeot, since they're French though...ha.

I see Milner and the #73 team have brought the Corvette into the lead for their class, in a position to bring the win home. Nice job. Also I see I missed a bit of rain. Shame.

And yes, the GT5/PS stickers on cars, as well as the on track banners and even the "Playstation Chicane" are great.

Audi is out millions of dollars worth of cars. We'll see what happens after but if anything, the history of Le Mans is to eliminate things that cause accidents. Otherwise things that were history, a huge part of the race, would still be seen such as running across the track at the start, no pit lane wall, no chicanes, etc..

Audi wins Le Mans. Corvette wins the GT Classes on its 10 year anniversary of its 1st Le Mans win in the 100th anniversary of Chevrolet. Americans on 3 of the 4 podiums.

No kidding, I recall last year seeing three Audi's side by side together, this year, just the lone #2 car. But still a win. Admittedly I wanted it to be a bit more close and nail-biting (and it was darn close as it was), but congrats to Audi, fantastic race.

Tommy Milner, of Shift 2 fame, wins Le Mans. Lucas Ordoñez, GT Academy winner, comes in second in P2. Pretty amazing how Corvette wins 2 classes, holding off Porsche, BMW and the new 458 Italia.

Bourdais was not happy. It has to be tough to put all that money, work and emotion to come up a bit short, and know that you have to wait a year to even attempt again.

Wonder if we'll hear that German anthem again in 6 hours...(hopefully not hehe)

Also, Speed went to the Speed Center - Nascar Edition - um, isn't every one the Nascar edition? Have they ever had a Speed center that wasn't somewhat focused on Nascar?

I've just been playing around with the Seasonal Events and those have been great! It's nice getting a good payout for some of the races ($400k+ for the supercar races for example) but those amounts are temporary right? Also nice doing a few tracks I haven't done before. Did the supercar, truck, muscle car and k-cup? events. That's a much nicer way to make money since I'm really, really tired of doing the Indy oval over and over and the payout just being 70k or 86k (depending on which race I do) per race.

I was happy and annoyed that the money won for the seasonal events got a huge bump. I have raced a LOT of races to get som extra money, now I could have done 1/3 as many to get the same money! Ah well.

And I missed Button getting the win. Recorded it instead of watching it live (mistake) because I decided to watch the MotoGP first. Watched my recording which finished just before the 3.5 hour mark, unfortunately the race hadn't restarted by then

Button going from 21st to 1st is pretty good, even if he was a little lucky. Shame about Hamilton going out so early, but things like that are going to happen when you drive like he does (and wouldn't want him any other way).

Have to see if I can watch it on catch-up TV on my V+ box

Looking for some advice on setups for the 3 new online challenge races...the ones witht he Elise, the Fiat and the Imprezza.

I have only tried the Imprezza and can only manage 6th place, 50 seconds behind the leader!!!

What do you pros suggest regarding settings and parts?
