What happens of its not a error? Then what? I know if its a error I will send in for a replacement disk but if its not, what about the people who complain about the color.

But if that is the case I'm pleased that I am because the fellowship of the ring is one of my favourite movies and that green tint would of ruined it for me. I love the way this disc looks. I'm sorry then if the green tint is there but I really can' t see it.
Mate what set did u get, uk or us? Sorry if mentioned but long thread and all.

We'll still hate it. But from what I've seen it's either the laziest remaster ever done or an error.

How would it be Lazy if it was their intention?

Also note that what I saw at the Towers screening paled in comparison visually to how Fellowship looked last week.

Because the green has been shown to be present on every frame. If it's intentional they clearly did an "apply to all" type deal.

Nothing, and then we hope it gets fixed the next time Warner releases these films (probably as a promotional vehicle for the Hobbit) just as the DNR issues were "fixed" with this release.

This is what I'm picturing.

Then I will play it on my PC, where I can relatively easily dial out the green without screwing up the rest of the image. My deference to filmmaker intent doesn't stretch quite that far. Pulling up the brightness level a bit wouldn't hurt either, since it also seems pointlessly dim.

Is there a reason you've been insinuating anyone who have a difference in opinion than you is mredman?

Highly annoying and extremely childish. Of all the members who had forced vacations, how are you still here?

Find it kinda funny that 1 random forum posts that they have the set and FotR looks amazing and pretty much echo's what RAH said yesterday and now lots of people believe him (but when RAH says it, it gets ignored).

Think we should try and have RAH, Ralph Potts, Ken and faerieoftheforest post the inner ring number -- see if they're all the same or if we have differences.

That's... not a bad idea.

That's how the Internet works... believe whatever anyone says unless it's a professional, because they are "establishment" and "bad".

Ken, you really SHOULD post screenshots. The same ones that are floating around because otherwise people will continue to tear into each other. You could end this debate right now.

Screen cap the opening title and the snow shot. Those are continually called fakes by people here. End the debate. Please. I beg you.
