Yeah, they certainly look cheap. I hoped for a different composition similar to how Fantasia was done but no.... I'll be keeping my US pre-order then.

They remind me of that really misleading The Secret of Nimh cover.

The one is reused DVD art isn't it? The other looks like horrible artwork from the 90s that hasn't been updated in decades. Lazy.

I just want to see RDU treated with the same AV quality as Treasure Planet.

Holy cow does that disc look amazing.

And looks like they DID put in a few new extras (just got it in today)--
The DVD had just the deleted scenes, trailer and music video, but the Blu has a whole area-divided Making-of "tour", except...there's nothing in it.
("Story", for ex., has a one-minute introduction by Laurie Metcalf explaining the Treasure Island inspiration, and the 1952 Disney trailer, that's it.)

Looks like they went back and used an old outline for Disk 2 of the separate Collectors' Edition they'd been planning to do before Atlantis and Eisner shut them down, and tried to use it anyway, even though most of the interviews they were originally planning never got filmed.
Still, it's a worthy effort.

Is " Belle's Enchanted Christmas" the same as "EC" B&B second movie? It was already launched in USa, does this mean Europe and the rest of the world will finally see it in blu???

I don't know. I was referring to the first two mainly.

Possibly. It would seem logical as Bambi II and Lion King II did get European releases. But we don't know - Disney didn't release Winnie the Pooh here either.
Personally I wouldn't spend money on a cheapquel, but I'm sure there's a market for it.

Beauty and the Beast is only vaulted in the US, it's still out in Europe.
By the way, The Enchanted Christmas is already out on BD in the US - but this title itself was recently vaulted. So whatever you were thinking, this is not about an upcoming US release for BatB:TEC because there already is a release for that.

I wish Disney would just stop playing "dangle the carrot" game when it comes to releasing their films on Blu Ray. Enough with the Diamond, Platinum, Adamantium (joke LOL) editions. There is enough demand for these films. Just release them. If you want to release other editions later on, fine so be it. But just release them already instead of putting them out and then dragging them back into the "vault".

So basically, just send a letter of intent along with the money to the address noted. You can call the phone number first to ask them about specific titles that may be OOP -- I would assume they have no problem sending them to you while supplies last. And again, while the above email doesn't specify (since I was only asking about the Tron Legacy 5-disc slipcover), each additional item after the first is only $1.00.
Does anyone know if you can get a slipcover for Meet the Robinsons and Chicken Little? They're the only ones I own that don't have them.

I think you can get any slip you want, as long as you pay for it

Do these two films even have slipcovers? I though they, along with Dinosaur, were never released with them...

Meet the Robinsons and Chicken Little only have a slipcover for the 3D version. The regular BD/DVD combo does not come with one and never has.

Brave Blu-ray

Brave 3D Blu-ray

Brave - 5 Disc 3D set is up for preorder on both Amazon.com ($49.99 - $8 coupon) and Amazon.ca ($39.99) however in the Future Shop forums, there's word that next week the preorder for the exclusive Metal Pack will be made available for preorder.

The .ca site says there is an $8 coupon as well by entering a promo code at checkout, but the code doesn't work - I emailed support to see what's up. Figure I'll pre-order this to lock in the price, but if FS does come out with a Steel, I may have to cancel this one and go for that....
