Nice. Hopefully it's better than the Italian release, which was poorly received

It has to be different to the Italian disc, because that was an Italian exclusive, clearly authored for Italy only (Italian text is attached to the film, Italian audio is the default, menus are in Italian) and Region B LOCKED.

The more pertinent question is whether the color timing will be different from that release.

Just because that release was for Italians doesn't mean that the transfer in general was. Everythng you mentioned is indepdent of the transfer itself, so it's entirely possible that Warner could use that same transfer in the US, which is my concern. I've heard rumors of the transfer being further remastered, and the restored version was also pulled from screenings to do further work, so hopefully the US release is truly different from what's out there.

I've been wanting to purchase the current U.S. release, however, I am rather excited for this extended version as hopefully it will be a new transfer with proper color timing.

There is one possible workaround. Do the links have content ID's? If so you might be able to copy and paste it into another ID link to see the image

A 3D packshot is one that allows you to see the depth (i.e. the spine) of the packaging and not just a straight front-facing image of the cover art.

I imagine it'll be the same print, if they'd managed to restore the footage, it would be bigger news I'd imagine. I live in hope though and hope we get a better version. Last I read, the longer print had been withdrawn from circulation for more work, so fingers crossed.
