*Sigh* Still a long way to go then. Can anyone tell me this. Can you share the beta, or do you have to go through a non disclosure agreement like some of the other betas?

No, I was planning on buying that game on a later date. I have all my money saved up for Red Faction. I'll just have to wait until they release the fixed online multiplayer demo of the game to see if its a purchase.

Sharing will result in rolling lock-outs between the two users. It's being reported all over the internet.

Technically, they don't want people sharing with each other. Their infrastructure is only setup right now for a limited number of users. Hence the KeyCode approach. If they intend to let 1000 people play and 5000 show up? Well, I'm sure that would cause serious glitching that they would have to investigate which resulted due to server problems, not actual programming problems. Make sense? That's why betas are supposed to be shared.

ANY BETA THAT IS SHARED AMIDST MULTIPLE USERS WILL RESULT IN ALL USERS ENCOUNTERING 24HR LOCK-OUTS.

Even if you use a new account, you will be fighting with 5 other people to get onto the actual beta. That would require some serious scheduling on everyone's part.

Yeah I downloaded it with the key, played it...realized I didn't know what the hell I was doing, and called my friend, gave him my login info and he logged in to my account, downloaded it and played it but it said the 24 hour thing.

Bummer. *shrugs*
