Anybody Watch Requeim for a Dream? They used Violins in a way that they were used to make Cold and Shrill noise instead of the traditional Warmth created by the Instruments, so I've got amazing respect for anybody that tries to do something Different. Clint Mansell is a God.

Silent Hill (1) is my only point of reference for games with this type of music without much melody so I'm not sure what to expect. I like what they used in the trailer which is in the Qore clip but I don't know if they'll have an ambient music track or just the world sounds and music in cutscenes.

Come the end of my playtest, I’m reluctant to put the controller down. In just a few short hours, inFamous has shown its stripes with a bewitching blend of exhilarating free-running and spectacular but deceptively tactical combat. Just playing around on Empire’s gigantic climbing-frame is a joy. The key lies in the plot and imaginative mission structure tying it all together. Without giving anything away, early tasks were promising but didn’t completely dispel concerns that threaten every sandbox game. That of missions following a very stringent pattern of 'go here, shoot that’. Enemy types were nicely mixed up, however, including a 'conduit’ reaper, who has his own destructive powers, tearing fissures in the ground to reach Cole. The plot too, was bubbling along nicely in the early stages and there was always the intoxicating feeling that its tale of conspiracy was going to blow wide open. If these hopes are fulfilled and concerns dispelled, then the PS3 will have yet another bright spark in an electrifying 2009 line-up.

I'm being told by my distributor this game is now set for a May 27th street date????

Tell me this is wrong because I have my May budget done and this is too big of a game to just "fit in" at the last minute. I could have sworn Sony said it was going to be June and not May.
