Monday Night War II? I must admit watching the Jan 4 Impact and Raw head to head made me feel like I was back in junior high/high school flipping the channels back and forth to see who was going to show up on the other program.

Hahaha Hogan and Bischoff totally played good-cop, bad-cop in that interview but Bischoff made me laugh a few times.

I'm not very high on either product right now really. WWE has the same people in the main events and always just want to "build" PPV matches so we get little to no wrestling on WWE TV, and TNA, well now it's going to be Hogan and Bischoff all over TV talking about how they're going to turn things around instead of actually just doing it. I'll still watch WWE because it's an overall better production, so the quality of the show still makes it watchable. TNA needs to step their production game way up.

Here's my view on TNA....I enjoy watching them, although I prefer to watch WWE. I think TNA does a great job of mixing up the matches and letting the roster work against a nice mixture of people.. The problem I have is that everything is done so randomly, it sometimes seems like they pick 2 numbers from a bingo machine and whoever has those numbers wrestles that week. I like that Hogan came in to give the place some mainstream credibility, but they gave away one of 3 possible match of the year candidates on their live 3 hour show, but it was the ONLY decent match on the card. Who cares about the Nasty Boys, when you have the BI, BMI, MCMG, Lethal Consequences, Generation Me ( who are entertaining as hell to watch btw ). Hall and Xpac should NEVER be allowed to wrestle again..Especially Hall...how many times has he been brought in and ended up flaking out on TNA? I count 2 already. Quit pushing ex-WWE talent and push AJ/Joe/Daniels/Desmond Wolfe/Matt Morgan (I cant believe I just said that). The only thing going for them is the X division, as Amazing Red is phenominal. They need to just settle themselves down, breath, and book a show that has a story. It was ridiculous that WWE had more wrestling on a 2 hour show then TNA did on a 3 hour show. Unacceptable...PS, get Bubba the Love Sponges irrelevant ass off of tv now please. He's awful... Also, fire Lacey von Erich. She can't wrestle and IMO makes Velvet and Madison less hot by association. I want the Monday Night Wars to actually be a war, not a bully giving the nerdy underclassman a swirly like it would be if they keep up the crap they did from 1/4.

Thank you Dirk. I'm a wrestling fan and very impartial. Been watching since I was 3 that I can remember, so that's 22 or so years, and I definately don't get entertained by the people that didn't entertain me back in 1998. lol..Nice to know my wrestling obsession has paid off.

Very good Impact last night! So, it's going to be Styles V Joe at Against All Odds for the belt...Awesome! I really like the promo between Foley and Bischoff! Line of the night from Taz...after Foley called, Bischoff the worst annoucer ever, Taz said, I guess Foley never heard of Mike Adamle! Priceless! lol! Interesting ending to Impact with The Band beating down Nash! I'd like to see who is pulling the strings when it comes to The Band? Oh, for all the TNA haters out there, last night was a very solid Impact for wrestling! Also, Nasty Boys were on screen for less than a minute!

Again, I'm not saying TNA is perfect, but atm, TNA is the more interesting product compared to the WWE!

Overall, I don't disagree that last nights show was a step forward. It was a pretty good show by my standards, and GREAT by TNA's standards. It is nice to see them use Samoa Joe at all, and that he is back in the title picture. Once again, why are they putting Hall, Xpac, Nasty Boys on television at all? They are all out of shape and irrelevant. Why not have Daniels win a match this year, as he currently is 0-14 I believe, and Brutus Magnus just lost the tad titles, but he is 0-12 this year...Way to give your titles credibility.
Eric Bischoff talking about Eric Young " There's someone else I won't remember tomorrow". Said about a guy that works good/great matches with everyone that he gets in the ring with and a company guy through and through. Way to verbally bury one of your title holders Bischoff. I will continue to watch every week because I love wrestling, but if they don't knock off the schoolyard bullshit booking that Bischoff/Hogan/Vince Russo are putting out, they will get laughed right off of Mondays.
I would say in terms of "shock value" TNA is a better product right now, but in terms of product, TNA and Raw are both just ok at the moment. Smackdown is a 100% better show than Raw and TNA couldn't hold a candle to the consistant wrestling that is put forward on that show, plus great talkers like CM Punk, Edge, Jericho. No contest there. Hope all parties involved start bringing their A game though.

Wow! I haven't watched TNA in a while but I enjoyed it somewhat.

The last time I was watching it regularly it was the Main Event Mafia forming and supposedly going against the young guys! The whole idea seemed to be to help push some younger guys.

Now it's all the old washed up old guys again?? WTF, seems like a bad idea to me.....

Just like the WWE thread, I will be posting weekly show recap/reviews on the forums after I watch them. Didn't get a chance to watch TNA when it aired tonight, had to DVR it. Went to see the Wolfman...save your $$$. lol

Anyways, opening interview of the show was ok. Hogan needs to stop acting like he is as old as his daughter. He still can talk, but needs to turn it down a bit. I think they need to have someone give some input for their speaking parts, because some people have great promos while others are ok. Some are just plain terrible. Love Eric Young, and I'm interested to see what they can do for him in the future.

Pope vs. Orlando Jordan was a pretty good match overall. Not much chemistry, and Jordan looked a little bit rusty in the ring. The Pope carried the match for sure, but overall I enjoyed it. Look forward to more from both. WWE made a mistake letting Pope (Eligah Burke) leave thats for sure.

Jarret/Bischoff was uncomfortable for me. I think they are still punishing Jarret for the Karen Angle thing. Who knows.

Loved Amazing Red/Doug Williams(at least I believe thats who it was). Red is one of the most entertaining people to watch in the last few years for me. Good pacing for an X division match, and the ending doesn't suprise me. I wish Red still had the belt, but they will hopefully stretch the fued out a little bit.

Foley/Bischoff just like Jarret/Bischoff. More wrestling please. I like Foley better than Jarret though, and at least they have a story in place for him, so I guess I can't complain to much. At least they are advancing the story.

Handicapped Knockout match was decent for them. 4 of the 5 in the ring can work well and usually have good chemistry. Seemed like the protected Lacy because she is easily the weakest of the group and I don't know why she has a job tbh. O well, what can you do sometimes?

Morgan/Suicide match was predictable, but Morgan works really well for a big guy,and Suicide did a good job of selling the power moves. Thats they way big guy/little guy matches should go. Big guys offense should ALWAYS look like it hurts like hell.

Anderson/Angle vs Hernandez/Wolfe was good match. I love Angle and Wolfe. I'm starting to come around on Hernandez, cuz for a big dude he is agile as all hell. Love Anderson as a talker, but as a performer he has always just been ok to me. More work with great people though will help him improve. I hope they keep him with Angle for a while, cuz Kurt makes EVERYONE look better than they really are.

Aj/Samoa Joe angle peaks my interest. The 2 guys that SHOULD be fighting for the top spot in the company ACTUALLY are, so I have no problems getting into this fued. Flair helping AJ get over as the cocky heel is the right move and of course "Joe will kill you!" is always a great way to book him. lol

The Kurt/Hall/Pac/Hogan thing seemed pretty obvious since Kurt didn't trust Hogan then they payed homage to the Bash at the Beach heel turn by having him turn face on his buddies. It shocked us once, can't shock us twice. Segment worked, and I see a Hall/Pac vs Nash/Eric Young fued possibly in the making. Lets see where that will take us.

Overall, the show was pretty good when they had wrestling on. The talking segments could use some work but overall werent bad either. 7/10 rating this week. If they stay consistent I will enjoy watching wrestling 4 nights a week. If not, then I will just have to watch anyways. lol. Any comments feel free to leave them. Enjoy

No No No No No.....Velvet is mine!!!!! You can have the other 2 beautiful people. Wait! You can have Velvet, but can I just have her ass? lol..

on topic, I would assume if they do anything on blu ray anytime soon it would be Bound for Glory. That is their Wrestlemania, but you will have to give it another year or so.
