Yep - to both counts. (Although I get £6 cashback via quidco.)

I don't even bother watching extras or deleted scenes in DVDs or Blus, (maybe "humerous" out-takes.) So if it's a choice of getting it sooner or getting a flashier version I always plump for sooner.

fair enough.
I love extras. Cant wait for the 3+ hours of extra bonus content.
I dont care about the senet game or anythin but standard set is missing bonus disc so its a no go.

I'm getting the standard S6 BD release, just because I can't wait an extra month to get it with the complete collection. My order on Play.com is also packing, and in past experiences I've had new Lost BD as early as Saturday. Fingers crossed it'll get here soon! And I will be posting pics as soon as it arrives.

I aint got money to waste so if by saving £7 I gain extras then I will have to be patient.

I'll wait to have a look at what the special edition of the UK set looks like, but in the meantime I have gotta say, the US box is in a league of its own. Seriously, if I had the money and the import charges weren't through the roof, I would get the US set.

This video shows you how it's all set out and it doesn't show you the hidden extras until the end so you can always switch off if you want to find out for yourself:

Way too late for them to do that without an uproar. A couple of days maybe, but it's been that price for weeks. Hardly something that would slip by this long.

Why do you all think the Amazon price is a "mistake"?

Did you ever stop to consider the possible fact that Amazon might *GASP* have decided to offer it for a fraction of the cost? *GASP*

I really don't "get" some users here sometimes.

Fingers crossed, but seriously - HMV caught on to the Lethal Weapon one straight away and cancelled everything. In this case it's been available to order for more than two weeks. Surely someone would have noticed an error if there was one to notice.

Because the RRP is below what others are listing it as. It's not hard to "get". HMV lists no retail, 101cd.com has £217.68 as the retail. Amazon: £189.99

Someone's wrong and people are simply hoping it's not Amazon as that gets them the best deal. Outside of Amazon 101cd.com is the best option at £185.03. Add that to the fact that it's cheaper than the regular version and you've got yourself a few valid reasons to wonder.

So:
- Different (lower) RRP than other retailers and than the basic version
- Cheaper than the basic version even though you get more stuff

Even if Amazon had decided to sell well below the other retailers there's still the question of the differing RRP which is not set by Amazon.

How is that hard to "get"?

Amazon.co.uk have done 25% off on new releases prior to release dates for years, bringing the complete collection down to £142.49

Again, I don't get why you all think this is wrong. Surely, you should all be estatic as this is the cheapest price so far.

But if you all want to waste an extra 25% then that is your business.

I think u dont understand basic maths or are just ignorant.
Since when is it normal for a big company to offer a premium product for less then a standard product? Even if it is only £7 less, it means less profit.

Also I have seen price mistakes by Amazon before on pre orders and they did not honor them.

You'll notice I haven't argued or said anything silly. All I said was it's very reasonable for someone to consider the possibility that a mistake may have been made by a company listing an item, so much so that the RRP of said item is almost 50% less than the retail of the basic version with less content and no trinkets (£360.99 to £189.99).

Combine this with the fact that, as has been mentioned, the selling price is below the price of the basic version and it's entirely reasonable for a consumer to wonder whether they may find their order being cancelled in the future.

No one is saying they are going to cancel their order.

No one is saying they want Amazon to cancel their order.

No one is saying Amazon should cancel their order.

All we are saying is that they might cancel our orders because of the above. It's entirely conceivable, completely reasonable, and very relevant.

All good now?

Now Amazon, DON'T CANCEL MY FRICKEN ORDER!!!!

I have been an amazon user for years, just less recently as funds have taken a turn for the worse, and have never seen price mistakes on there.

And the pricing is not upto the studio that distributes the product, it is upto the seller of said product. The RRP is the price that is told to amazon what the prefered price is, but the final price is ultimately what amazon decide it should be, Kick-Ass collectors pack being a prime example to this (listed as £69 on most sites, but on amazon for £57 minus P&P).

One more time, you are all being completely idiotic.
