I'm guessing you were lucky as I emailed them Wednesday night to check the status of the order, received an email from them on Friday just quoting back the estimated delivery from my order confirmation email (23/04/2011). I emailed them back that morning questioning why my card was charged & the cancellation button removed, still haven't received a reply.
Got a dispatch email at 12.50am how weird.

Finally had my dispatch email this morning from Sainsburys. I was getting worried I'd never get it. I won't be using Sainsburys again for pre order thats for sure.

EDIT - Well its just arrived and a very nice box set it looks to. Strange that Sainsburys send the dispatch email only hours before it arrived.

I think HMV staff policy is to pull price stickers out of a hat blindfolded, and assign them to random Blu Rays. One of their Dublin branches was charging 40 euro for Norbit!

Did it come via standard Royal Mail, did you need to sign for it? I'm at work & had my dispatch email this morning too.

They've also been enforcing a 1 for the price of 2 policy since the arrival of Blu-ray. HMV you've got to love 'em....

Like someone else said, I saw the individual releases in 3 seperate HMV's, all priced at £30 each. The trilogy boxset was £55. Madness.

It must have looked a bargain! I know I moan about prices but the Scream Trilogy shouldn't be more than £25 the cheapest anywhere is £10 more. The Fast and the Furious set is only 25 with one more film!

Decided that since I trust HMV, I ordered the trilogy boxset for £35.09 on the website

Jut got an e-mail a few minutes ago --

Quote:
Dear Customer

I am contacting you regarding your order for Scream 1 – 3 box set.

Please accept our sincere apologises but due to the pricing error we had a high influx of orders which led to stock shortages. We have no option but to cancel all the orders.

Sent an email off asking if they'd be willing to price match with Sainsbury's at £29.99 when they start selling them again. Least that way, with 20% off its still a bargain.

Shot in the dark I know, but...

I went to check my local HMV for Scream earlier and they had one copy of the original for £30. Forget it.
