To me, if they wanted to base her off the cartoon version, they might as well have cast a porn star for the role.

Judith Hoag ain't exactly a perfect example of TnA, but she's a good actress who played the character well. The woman who played her in the sequels didn't capture that same tough, no-nonsense aspect that made April so great in the first film.

Thank you for posting this!! I went to my local Walmart this past weekend and I searched all over their movie section and couldn't find it. They didn't have any triple features. I was about to leave, annoyed at the waste of a drive, but then I remembered your post and I decided to search the photo section, and there they all were! The triple feature display was stuck way in the back of the photo section where no one would really think to look for anything. I would've missed it myself, except the picture of the turtles on the side of the display case caught my eye. So thanks for posting that!!

The first Walmart I checked did not have the WB display, took a chance and went to a different location yesterday morning and they had the displays at the store entrance right in front of the check-out lanes.

I went to another Wal-mart yesterday only to find that, while they did have a triple feature display up, they did not have any copies of the TMNT triple feature.

This is getting really annoying.

Judith Hoag was in Armageddon?

And Paige Turco has a good recurring role in TV's Person Of Interest right now (and she still looks great ).

She plays Chick's ex-wife. Only reason I know this is because I just watched it a few days ago and noticed it was her.

Also, I'm about to give up on there ever being individual releases of these movies and just accept the fact that I'll have to buy 2 and 3 to own the first one.

Already own the original set. Nice for people who don't own it already, I wish they would re-release it with some special features tho.

Yeah, I was really surprised when I first noticed her in it, too. It was probably a couple of years ago, and I kept thinking to myself, "Who is she?". Then, one day, it just clicked: "April!" I was so happy.

NO PROBLEM! Glad I could help! Lemme tell ya, this site RULES and I have been helped out by everyone's posts and PM's so its nice to be able to give back too! Glad my post was of help to you and glad you were able to pick this up! This is now considered hard to find now, since I picked mine up, Ive been to about 3 different Walmarts in my area and this movie is not available anywhere, so either they are running very low on "first pressings" of this release or people are just buying them because of the price. So if anyone is reading this, HOPEFULLY you will have better luck at your local Walmart's. They really need to sell this on Walmart.com, I think they could make some good money doing this.

I cant recall where in the display it was, but Thank you for not buying 2 of them! I guess it was me who bought the 1 you left, small world huh?

Funny thing is, Ive only been to that store a total of 3 times in my life, I do most of my Walmart shopping in Islandia and Centereach as these are the closest stores to me.

Up until recently, I worked for the Centereach Wally World.

Went to my walmart and they none of this triple feature set. I bet a lot of it is people weren't even aware that the trilogy was already available. (unless you are specifically looking for it or are a member of this site) Not very many stores had the set since it came in an easily damaged box. I remember going to 4 stores and none had it, so I had to order it off of amazon.

edit: ordered it today. It'll probaly take a while for Amazon.ca to have it in stock and for the boxset to make it all the way to Germany. But I can wait. And at the same time I kinda can't wait, if that makes sense.

I finally picked this up my local FS, and am happy I did because there were only 3 copies, and Walmart had none. Sadly non of the copies had the slip cover. Maybe the slip cover is only in the US? Can someone confirm this?

I am looking forward to watching these movies in HD, maybe I will do so tonight.
