The coffin set is awesome but can i really justify an extra £9 for packaging alone? Hmmmmm

I'd pay the extra £9 to not have that impractical packaging.

Buy the normal set and give levcore £9 to upgrade to the impractical packaging. Then everyone's a winner....

Sainsbury's have the coffin pre-order price of £41.99!

As soon as I order this, amazon will probably drop their price - usually happens to me - but this set looks great

I'd be a bit wary of this. Best scenario is that it's just a coffin-shaped box holding amarays. More likely it's a coffin-shaped box holding the regular release's digibook. But there's also a chance this'll be like the coffin-shaped Amicus dvd collection, which a) is a pain in the arse to shelf and b) had the discs attached to its various panels on hubs, which proved spectacularly inefficient and resulted in many loose discs in postage and the discs constantly falling off whenever you opened it.

There's a good reason why the coffin shape is only good for dead people. It's a very inefficient container for anything else. I'll be passing on this.

Wow. I have a thing for coffin box sets. Just cancelled the pre order of the regular box and pre ordered the coffin.

Just realized something... Where's "Son Of Frankenstein"? That's a great movie and i think it should've been in this collection!

Bela Lugosi as Igor is amazing.

While it's a good film, I wouldn't call it "essential". I'm sure if this set sells well, we'll get another set of sequels. My suggestions are Dracula's Daughter, Son of Frankenstein, House of Frankenstein, Frankenstein Meets the Wolf Man, Werewolf of London, Invisible Man Returns, Mummy's Hand and Revenge of the Creature in 3D. I also assume that if Abbott and Costello Meets Frankenstein sells well, we'll get Meets the Mummy, too.

And for the record, it's "Ygor"

Mine came out to $62.93 USD Shipped after conversion ...... £40.57. It's $70 with VAT which we do not need to pay. So only about $11.60 more than my original order of $51.33.

Cancelled my US set for this UK coffin. Looks great and the price in comparison is a no brainer. Just so long as the outer ratings are on a removable card.

Even if it is like that it will probably have ratings logos everywhere.

Probably not as it will no doubt come in a larger box with all the info on it which will have the logos on it, similar to steelbooks where they use J-cards.

It might not. I know the recent Star Trek movie boxsets were Paramount and not Universal, but they only had stickers on the outside of the box and none at all on the actual cases.
