looks like all of the future marvel movies are gonna have great SFX, great sound and cheap too since disney now owns ILM & Skywalker Sound. Can't wait for the next Avengers movie.

just don't mess with my Clone Wars Animated series (unless messing with it makes it better then by all means) and i'm a happy camper.

Kind of sad to see it change hands, but if it means more Star Wars, Hell ya. I hope they bring back some of the fist trilogy characters back in some role to make the new film feel more legitimate. I bet all the money in the world this will be in 3D.

But can't believe that Star Wars is worth 4 Billion. That number is astronomical.
Remember, Indiana Jones is also included. Seems like a low number then lol

Disney bought Pixar for over $7B. It is crazy for anyone born before 1985 to believe Lucasfilm ended up going for less.

This...this kinda blew my mind...I am sitting at work, I read this, I made sure by checking in other places it was true, I had a geekgasm, I got up from my desk and went downstairs and told the first person I saw that I thought would care.

All the people noting the increased chance of the theatrical cuts on Blu-ray.

Remember, those were coming sooner or later anyway. Lucas confirmed that numerous times.

At first, I thought this was some prank put on by Slashfilm but I verified this information through starwars.com. But, I have to say, there is a good chance that Disney could produce some decent Star Wars films. Seeing a new Star Wars film every two years instead of every three years is a welcoming prospect.

But, I think everyone might be jumping the gun if they think this will be a post-sequel series following the events of Return of the Jedi. If they go that route, with continuing the story, were could possibly see Harrison Ford, Carrie Fisher and Mark Hamil return in brief cameos. But, I think it's more likely that we'll see a new trilogy that's not connected to Luke, Han or Leia.

Personally, I'd like to see Disney adapt Timothy Zahn's "Heir to the Empire" trilogy. It's probably the most requested of all of the novels. But, I doubt Harrison Ford would want to do any more sci-fi. But, this is great news.

Now they should remodel Epcot Center to look like the Death Star. That would be awesome sauce.

Yeah the story-lines I want to see the most are the Thrawn saga and the events of the old-timey Sith and Jedi before the life and death of Anakin Skywalker.

Yeah, but it was Lucas.. Who knows what we would have really ended up getting and when...

"Here are the original theatrical cuts, without the edits.. But in the process of taking out the original edits I added just a few small changes"...

:P
Ultra HD version And they'll be limited editions too, so that the prices will increase as stock runs out.
