A bit slow with this, so here is what came while I was away in Bristol, and was waiting for me on the 9th December:
![]() I finally got my replacement for It Always Rains On Sunday, as the original one got lost by Hermes. I got my final replacement digibook, so Mamma Mia! completes the recent wave. I also got my Zombie Flesh Eaters slipcase release from Arrow, and a couple of the David Attenborough Blu-rays from the BBC Shop I normally like to post what day these came, but as I was away, I've put them all together as I don't know Last edited by mattyl149; 02-16-2013 at 10:46 AM. |

Here's what came Monday 10th December:
![]() The Bourne Legacy and Oldboy technically came on the 5th December, but they were delivered to the shop over the road and forgot they had them, and so I din't get them until Monday. There was also another couple of steelbooks and The Colditz Story Last edited by mattyl149; 02-16-2013 at 10:40 AM. |

Here's what I received on Tuesday 11th December:
![]() First up is the Takeshi Kitano boxset which I mentioned I had to return to Fopp as it was damaged, and so this is the copy from Amazon. I noticed The Town was in HMV's multibuy offer so I picked that up with Snatch and Layer Cake. I did want to get five titles, but apart from The Warriors, there was nothing else I wanted. Also, the HMV Birmingham Bull Ring store was really busy and I didn't have a lot of spare time to look around I also received another three Steelbooks from Play, so that is seven Steelbooks in the last few days Last edited by mattyl149; 02-16-2013 at 10:41 AM. |

Nothing on Wednesday, so this is what came on Thursday 13th December:
![]() This is the US digibook release. I also received The Shawshank Redemption steelbook, but that was damaged, so I will post a picture when the replacement comes. I watched the Director's Cut of this last night, after having never been fully aware of the original ending Both digibooks were cheap on Amazon.com, and The Shawshank Redemption has lossless sound which the UK version doesn't have Last edited by mattyl149; 02-16-2013 at 10:41 AM. |

Finally for now (until I do today's), this is what came on Saturday 15th December:
![]() This is the original release with the number one on the spine, and although it was about £15, it is OOP, and so I got it while it was still available. I'm collecting all the Shameless DVDs and Blu-rays and didn't want to miss out on any There is probably no surprise what I had today, but I will try and post the picture later Last edited by mattyl149; 02-16-2013 at 10:44 AM. |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Now seeing the Korean version of Seven up close, i prefer this version now to the Japanese. When holding up to the light, the title shines and really sticks up. Great finish on this one. Really shows how poor the UK version is compared to the Japanese and Korean versions. Guess you get what you pay for. Limited Editions ![]() |

![]() ![]() This is about a months worth, from Black Friday time (Monsters & Hitch; can you believe I've yet to open them?). Scandal was free with the promotion Eureka are currently running with purchases of both Fear & Desire and The Blue Angel (which ends soon, if anyone wants to take advantage of it). The Cabin steel I ordered from HMV at launch, but they screwed my order up, and didn't keep enough reserves so had to refund me. I was lucky to find one still left in an HMV store. It's nice to see Anime getting a better presence on Blu-ray in the UK. Vesperia is one of my favourite games, looking forward to the film. Particularly looking forward to Persona and Bersek on the 24th. And The Lord Of The Rings I only purchased from hype prior to seeing The Hobbit. |

![]() ![]() Would you believe after how long I waited for my last Arrow order, that these, ordered Thursday at 5pm, arrived this morning? Crazy difference. Much like King Of New York, I wasn't a fan of Class Of Nuke 'em High, but am giving it another chance, especially at this price. Speaking of price, couldn't say no to Two-Lane Blacktop at £9.99. Picked up Assassination, as I heard it may well be my last chance, with the recent reprinting likely to be the last. |

Thanks buddy. The US Where The Wild Things Are slip is fairly common, but it's so much nicer than the flat, matte UK version. Took me about 20 pictures to get good ones of the embossing though! Ebay provided that blu for the princely sum of £3.49 including postage.
The Play.com Attack The Block set is also from eBay, but I was lucky and got it for just £6. The seller even threw in the alternate, regular slipcase - here they are next to each other: [Show spoiler] The JB Hi-Fi exclusive covers are awesome and there's a bunch more to collect (although not all movies I particularly want in my collection). As mentioned, I got mine via a helpful forum member who picked them up in a two for AUS$30 deal and during a 20% off weekend - essentially making them AUS$12 each (£7.75 + shipping). These deals are also carried online too - and JB Hi-Fi do ship internationally, so it's worth keeping an eye on their website. Last edited by aequalszero; 12-23-2012 at 09:55 PM. |
