I would not mind them bringing Adele back for another go around. Would also like to hear MUSE do a Bond song.

I am pretty sure the one Muse played at the London 2012 closing ceremony was their Skyfall attempted effort? Or maybe it was QoS, not sure...?

It wouldn't surprise me if Muse wanted to get involved. I didn't even know they'd tried before...

Edit: Lana Del Ray! I'd be in Heaven I would.

haven't watched any of the recent Bond films but (and I may be in the minority here), I would like to see a Bond vs Bond film. there is the fan thing that Bond is a code name and that when an agent retires, another one takes over as Bond. I would like to see that explored and have a movie where the 2 Bonds are on opposite sides of things. Since they have similar character traits, could be interesting if done right since they would have similar thinking and are not just smarter than the bad guy. it would be different than 007 taking on 006.

But it's exactly that - it's a fan theory that, whilst making sense, isn't accepted by the actual people behind the films. I doubt they'll ever explore it because it's consigned to Internet forums and discussion boards, and isn't an "official" way to view Bond.

Christopher Nolan would be perfect. The same goes for Cathrine Bigelow or Paul Greengrass

I would love to see Phillip Noyce get a chance at directing a Bond film.

Salt was an impressive action flick, and he handles emotion well, so it definitely would be interesting.

Philip Noyce is actually a great choice for a Bond film. He has a sleek-yet-unobtrusive visual style, handles action sequences with a minimum of shakey-cam bullcrap (the scene in Clear And Present Danger when the convoy gets abmushed in the alleyway is a real nail-biter ) and isn't American.

Exactly. He seems to fit all the qualifications of things I'd want to bring to Bond. I think he'd be a great choice to follow in Martin Campbell and Sam Mendes' films. I really think he'd make a superb Bond film.

Don't even joke about that! That guy has released more songs and made more money since he "died" than he did when he before that.

Although there is the theory that the number gets re-used (completely bogus, but it is out there) there is nothing that indicates the two agents with the same number would be exactly the same. They wouldn't be any more the same than 007 and 006... so it would actually be exactly the same as 007 taking on 006. It's just one agent taking on another...

I read this several times trying to determine if you were serious or not

While I don't have any specific objection to any of it, it seems awefully cheesey to simply create a list of things that have never happend and then cram them all into one movie.

Not to mention Australia and Canada don't exactly fit. The locations in the Bond Universe are generally exotic, adventurous, intriging, mysterious, (insert your own adjective here). Canada and Australia aren't any of these things.

they can go skiing in Switzerland but going to the Canadian Rockies is not exotic enough? believe it or not, we don't have snow here 365 days a year - there is quite a diversity in locations and most of them are quite filmable. you would probably film an entire Bond movie in Canada and not have any issue finding a location that seems exotic. great pics btw.

I do see what you mean about the 007/006 thing. maybe that wasn't the best way to put it but I still think the idea is sound - put Timothy Dalton up against the current Bond, etc. I tend to think that each number represents a certain style/personality of person so someone is made 007 for a specific reason - it isn't just the next agent in line for a promotion.

Maybe they should switch it up this time and instead of having a bond girl...
Why not a Bond guy...You know someone who Bond is attracted to that is not female...or vice versa...You know maybe he could be attracted to bond?
There is nothing wrong with a super agent being BI is there??

Ehh..Just a thought...

Sorry, your pictures don't do much for me in this case (and I know a little about landscape photogrpahy: My Website). It's not about a snapshot, I can get a beatiful landscape in Ohio or Arizona. Thats doesn''t meam that a Bond film would benefit from taking the story there.
You have to look at locals from a more wide, popular perspective. I've visited Canada (intentionally ) and don't have any negative opinions of it, I loved my time there, just saying it doesn't have the elegant, sofisticated appeal that Europe or other places do.

The world of Bond is supposed to be elegant, sofisticated and intriguing. It is a fictional spy world full of mystery and intrigue... Unfortunately Canada has the sofistication and elegance of Wisconsin or Colorado. Nothing wrong with any of those places, just not a setting that gets people excited about a Bond film.

I am betting they give Bond a partner in the next one.
And said partner is gonna be played by The Rock

what makes Europe exotic? look at Die Another Day - lots done in an icy mountain area. does it look any more exotic than the Rockies? it is about the story. yeah, it you want a desert or some ultramodern city then Canada is probably not the place to look but there are tons of locations used in Bond movies where a Canadian location could have been used just as easily and no one would care. I don't get exited about a location unless there is something important to it. did people get excited because they filmed Ghost Rider or Wolverine Origins in Australia? no because the location fit the story. that isn't a slam against Australia, just the fact. but if they filmed those movies in say Italy, still wouldn't care as long as it looked right. the location only matters if the look is right. if they want to set the story in some exotic location because of something there(an Opera house, well known landmark, etc), the by all means film there but to film someplace just so you can say you filmed there doesn't mean much.
