Yeah that's what I'm waiting for. Maybe it will be like the Robot Head where you only have a day or two to order on their site

I also wonder how many of these they are making? They didn't throw a number out like 250 or 500, but I'm sure they will still be pretty valuable as collectibles

Fox will be showing clips from the movie in 3D at their booth at comic con. Hopefully we can get a report from someone going on what the 3D looks like.

There's gonna be news about Predator at the upcoming Comic Con, and supposedly its about the 3d release.

Saw this on the Foxconnect website, under the Comic-con FAQs:

Q. When will my card be charged for pre-orders?

A. Orders for Predator 3D Blu-ray with Custom Figurine will be charged on the day of purchase and cannot be returned due to customization of the figurine. If you place a pre-order for other products at special, Comic-Con pricing, your card will be charged at the time your order ships, not before, and for the items shipped. Should Fox attempt to process your charge and the transaction is declined, we will contact you directly to ensure there is no interruption in delivery of your pre-ordered item(s).

I'm so so mad that I didn't try to go to comic con this year I think I'll try for sure next year though

Also I'm really excited for the 3d treatment for Predator. I'm embarrassed to say I've still never seen the movie and I've really wanted to see it, but what a great way it would be to see the film for the first time with a well done 3d treatment. It's encouraging and promising to me that Fox is giving fans who preorder at comic con a chance to see the 3d before the official release in December. I'm thinking we're gonna see big improvements over I, Robot

This is interesting. It mentions a NEW 3D transfer. Could this mean that the film's getting remastered after all? It would make sense seeing as Fox seems to be going all out with this new release.

Or since there never were a 3D transfer before this must be "new"?

I'm bummed I have no chance of getting my head scanned, being on the wrong side of the country and all. That would be cool as hell!

A buddy of mine is in San Diego right now attending Comic-con and just posted the picture above to his Facebook page. Guess that confirms December for certain

I've messaged him and asked if get ends up back by that booth, to take some additional pictures and to tag me in them so we can get a little bit more information about the 3D release.

Key phrase "with Custom Figurine", the one available for pre-order at FoxConnect doesn't come "with Custom Fugurine".
