I don't think so. It looks to be a printing error. Way too high up to be what you're describing.

I do see what you mean now. However, I find it odd that they made the background stand out with the darker color (For that tiny spot on the right), when the left side of the steelbook uses a lighter shade - which matches the shadowing/darker areas on the right side. Perhaps if the entire left side matched that level of darkness, it wouldn't look like a defect?

The more I look maybe you are right, but like THS to me it looks like a defect. Will have to look better when I get more time.

How were you able to download an iTunes copy of Anchorman 2? Did you use the same code that was included on the insert for the Ultraviolet Digital Copy?

I just picked it up and was worried about this reported "defect" being mentioned but after seeing it, I agree that it is simply the background. It's colored similar to the other side and just stands out because of the shadows cast by his hair/neck and shirt collar.

I believe I'm missing Disc 1 (Unrated and Theatrical version) of Anchorman 2.

I got anchorman 2 to work on iTunes but not anchorman. I got both to work with UV. Not sure why the first one didn't work on iTunes? Usually if you use the same code on iTunes first it will work for both. But for me if I use the code first with UV it will not work on iTunes. Just something I have noticed over time.

i picked up the steelbook from Wally & it includes both 1 & 2 movies. the codes with the steelbook are only listed for UV, there is no mention of iTunes on the sheet.

i'm not sure what arrives with the standard (non steelbook) versions.

also, my steelie is mint, not a scratch or anything; i love it, cause, it's kind of a big thing!

That is the way I always did and it worked. Anchorman didn't work this time. Anchorman 2 worked.

Question, I picked this up today and when I touch the area around the walmart sticker it makes like a creek sound, is this just the plastic. Call me crazy but Im afraid to open it thinking its damaged or something. Anyone know what Im talking about? Its only makes this sound when I touch the walmart exclusive sticker so Im thinking its the plastic, no dents or anything!

Picked one up after work this evening. Love the look of it. My store, which is far from a large geographic region, had roughly 30 copies of the steelbook and a ridiculous amount of the regular edition. Several regular editions out front, the full sized display in electronics with steels and regular editions, a full rack on the new release wall of regular editions and steelbooks, and another few steelbooks in the new release aisle itself. I was surprised to see the number - as many, if not more than the Man of Steel exclusive back in the fall.

I spent way too much time looking for a great one (I stuck to the display where they hadn't been stuck in the metal racks) and finally found one that ended up being perfect. Saw lots of spine slashes and even some dents.

Well most, if not all, steelbooks have the metal exterior and the plastic interior. You are probably just hearing the interior plastic tray "creek"(or creak)
