I'm not expecting their upcoming Fiend to be any better lol. Someone described it as a zero-budget Do-It-Yourself flick that looks like it was shot in someone's living room. Yikes.

Crazy Enter The Devil is being described as a "Grindhouse" presentation. I thought it looked pretty good, considering. Yeah there's some speckles and dots, washed out colors and even SOME slight print damage. Now if you want to see a truly "Grindhouse" presentation check out some of those Dark Force discs and all those Code Red Grindhouse Double and Triple Feature Blu-Rays. Real rough, but not advertised as anything other than that (CR only). I found the film slow, but I really liked the first half of the film which is basically a Western. I enjoyed the characters, but I did get a little bit bored. The last 30 minutes are pretty wacky and I was glad when we got back to the "Cult" angle.

It's from a faded interneg. This is about the best one can do in terms of color correction.

Compared to previous releases, it's the goddamn WIZARD OF OZ.

I am pretty surprised that people are saying this looks bad, I have the Sinister Cinema DVD from the Mid-2000's and this Blu-ray gave me an entirely new appreciation for the film.

It doesn't look bad. That's a laughably sheltered, and unrealistic opinion.

I thought it looks nice, good encode, rich colors considering the faded source. I think the faded source adds to the recreation of the theatrical experience.
I enjoy these desert set flicks the 70's (and often 80's) seemed to specialize in. The setting is big for me.

Vinegar Syndrome did the scan for Hack-O-Lantern, so I wouldn't be surprised. Hopefully Massacre keeps partnering with them, as they do excellent work.

We had no involvement with this release however as I'm friends with Louis, I know all of the technical aspects of the restoration.

Will Vinegar Syndrome be involved with the upcoming Massacre Video release "THE DEVIL" since the original negative will be used?

I'd love to see another Marian Dora from them, and hopefully the film would be released on bluray.

They just put up "Dead American Woman" DVD on their website. Trailer looks pretty wild. DeepDiscount has for $15

Looks like a new 2K transfer of NIGHTMARE (1981) is coming out. Per a recent twitter post.
