Is Universal done with releasing their classic monster films on Blu-ray?

Yeah I know. It's the movies that is the main thing, but special and unique packaging is a factor for me when making purchases. I've already got the Universal Monsters set and I'm not a huge fan of these. Therefore special packaging is the thing that would push me from interested into buying. Since all the text on this set is in German I can pass and hold out for an English friendly release that will hopefully come.

Also, on closer inspection it appears that The Invisible Woman and Invisible Agent are DVD only. Not having all the films on bluray is an even larger reason for me to pass on this set than the German text.

I said that too until the price dropped below $10 a movie. Honestly, I think if you are going to wait for all of your personal lingual peccadillos to be addressed, you probably don't care much about the Universal monster movies. Between Elephant Films and this German set, a big chunk of the second tier monster movies have now been released. More titles than would fit in any conceivable Mosters II box set. I seriously doubt that we are going to see most of them (outside of streaming) here in the US in the foreseeable future. I'm betting that they struck HD masters just as a backup for the film elements. They may have no intention of releasing them on blu-ray.

Probably not.

He'd probably make the foolish mistake of discussing illustrations or binding or whether they were X editions or Y editions and the 'nothing matterz but teh w0000rdz' crowd would get their eyes arollin'.

What have they been working with the last several decades? I thought that movie had been pretty well-preserved.
