Just reminiscing for a sec, I still love the 100-Mile Dash sequence through the jungle as a demo. That and the missile attack on the passenger plane. Oh and also the entire final battle with the robot. Oh and also... well just every action sequence really. Randy Thom did a phenomenal job as the sound designer for this movie.

I'm geeking out about it.

I felt this way about many mixes that were lossy on DVD and then ‘upgraded’ to lossless nearfield dynamic range on blu. This is just a natural progression and another ‘upgrade’ on the path.

Available for pre-order (again) on Best Buy. It says release date June 5, 2021. Let us hope that is just a typo on the year.

Wait until the new Avatar movies come out. If they revive the mainstream interest in home 3d we have a chance. Otherwise Disney 3d releases in USA are dead and any chance of previous releases getting new 3d versions is 0

Do you think this release will have the two blu ray discs it comes in the normal edition r just the feature film?
Because I've been meaning to get the first release of the Increibles on blu ray but it's way too expensive so I hope this one comes with all its disc, irt;s the most logic thing right?

Pixar already mastered The Incredibles in 3D, along with A Bug's Life and Wall*E and Ratatouille (which was released in France). Lasseter had all the Pixar titles mastered in 3D "in case we need them". So the work is already done. It's just sittin' there.

The released cover looks quite official, so I doubt it's just a rumor.
Maybe they've removed it from online stores, so that Disney can make a proper announcement in the coming days

Same for Star Wars. The 3D conversions of the original six films are all finished (or mostly finished) before they were cancelled by Disney.

Not true. Only the prequels were finished. Phantom menace was the only one to receive a wide release. Original trilogy only had short tests.

Well I stand corrected. I could have sworn I read that the Original Trilogy was mostly done.

Best Buy removes every single title at least once or twice before release, this is nothing new. I see this posted in every single steelbook thread ever and people still haven't seemed to catch on yet.

Seems like Walmat US has removed it for now. It is listed on Walmart Canada though with release date June 5.
