Ordered mine from Best Buy but it’s still stuck at “Getting it ready”

I think it's always been an old 4:3 videotape trailer that's shown up on YouTube etc. over the years. The one included on the Blu-ray is the original widescreen theatrical trailer without the video titles/effects.

I'll admit that trailers are one of things I've skipped on blus and dvds for probably 99% of releases, but I do get a nostalgia for some of them. It was also nice when studios didn't give away all the laughs with comedies or all the scares with horror, etc.

My copy is also not ready from Amazon. Here's to hoping we won't be waiting too long! I was going to watch it on Amazon a couple weeks ago, but thought I'd wait just a bit longer for the bluray, make it more enjoyable to watch for the first time in probably 20 years or so.

Always creeped me out that Patrick Dempsey was 20 and Amanda Peterson was 15 years old in this film. Actually it didn't creep me out as much as watching 15 year old Thora Birch being naked in American Beauty. Either way Can't Buy Me Love is a enjoyable flick Disney won't give up the rights to.

I didn't know about the age difference until many years later, somewhere around the time of her death. When the movie came out I had just turned 11 years old and so they both seemed much older to me at the time and was I was completely oblivious to the fact that many of the actors portraying teenagers on the screen were typically in their 20's.

She did look around the same age as Dempsey in the film. Its just crazy to look at it now in comparison that she would have been in 9th grade and he would have been a Junior in college

Yeah, the actors did a good job of making us believe that they were the same age. The two main actors in "Just One of the Guys" were like 28. LOL

I don't even have that. I preordered over a month ago and Amazon still can't give me an answer as to when it will be shipped.

Amazon has gotten worse over the last year when it comes to this stuff. I asked the CSR earlier today as to why should I preorder something if I don't get it within a reasonable amount of time after it's release.

WOW this looks awesome! The new disc is a revelation compared to how i used to watch this movie, I feel like i’m seeing it for the first time. I’m so glad this is finally out on blu, it’s been on my wishlist for many years.

I finally caved on it and ordered it. Seems to be out of stock now, I guess demand was pretty high. They will make more though since it's MOD.

Best Buy said sold out when I went to order it from them, so I ordered from another vendor.

Now if only we could get Can't Buy Me Love on Blu-ray. hmmm.
