Well, the same Czech online retailer I quoted earlier now says the release is postponed to 2021. But I think it's coming eventually... Honestly, with all these new and cool releases coming your way this year, my wallet says thank you for that!

Don't ask me how but I was able to see this 4K HDR master and it looks incredible. Detail, shadow detail and colors in this cinematography are excellent. A reference disc for sure. Now if only we can get this for Dogs and Pulp...

Was that the real deal or a homebrew regrade done by some goober?

Nice that they're releasing more Tarantino in 4K, but this is probably his weakest film IMO.

He didn't. He asked what type of 4k HDR. Heck, I mean I could probably take a Blu Ray and upscale it and HDR grade it, as opposed to an official job on the 2k DCI-P3 source.

Yeah but there are too many of those homebrew hack jobs floating around, he doesn't have to say he DID see the official version but he could certainly say he DIDN'T see some crappy bedroom regrade.

The master I saw was HDR10. You won't be disappointed.

It being HDR10 means nothing in this context. If it was an actual studio master and not a dodgy homebrew grade cooked up by some rando on the Internet then I'm sure you could say so without betraying your sources.

Looks like it's been postponed a year - October 7, 2021.

I recently bought the blu-ray of this so the UHD announcement is sure to be imminent.
