The UK may miss out on a good number of titles that only get released in the US, but when the UK does get a release, they often get their choice of several super fancy, beautiful collector’s editions. The US rarely gets these souped-up deluxe editions these days, at least when it comes to the big studio releases.

At least we’re getting that… interesting looking Harry Potter train set here in the United States.

Sleeps through a normal night only to wake up and find out Zavvi’s exclusive collector’s edition of THE THING went up and sold out fully while I was snoozing. Vowed not to get fooled again and set two alarms in the middle of the night to get their exclusive CARLITO’S WAY before it sold out, which it still hasn’t.
