Armour of God - 88 Films

I'm going to be brave here, so here goes. I own a custom blu ray of this movie and it has a rather excellent mini documentary about the making of AOG. Would obtaining this be possible or frowned upon? I know another label used a previously unique custom hybrid soundtrack on one of their releases as most people preferred the "funkier" International soundtrack. Food for thought.

Or maybe 88 could produce their own featurette using it as a reference, which would be better than nothing

I think it'd be better entirely, going by the extras they produced on The Young Master. It's just, would it be too much of a job for this particular release? They seemed to throw everything they had at TYM, which probably cost quite a bit. I'm just unsure if they'd fund such a project for a single disc release, when they could obtain one that already exists. Having said that, I read that Brandon Bentley had planned to do one for Dragon Lord but ran out of time. So who knows.

I'm guessing by the time this gets released, all movies directed by Jackie should be available with new HD transfers, or did I miss anything?

Maybe Who Am I is the only one left..

Yeah, that was my fault, lol. It really didn't get past the "writing notes in WordPad phase", as I was juggling a lot of personal stuff at the time... so much so, I even gave up trying to attempt an audio commentary for Criterion's version of Enter the Dragon. WOMP.

There was a great fan commentary for ETD that used to be found on the Cityonfire website.

Paraphrasing of the opening lines "That's Sammo Hung...and already we've done a better commentary than Paul Heller!"

I recently re-listened to it (it was recorded 19(!) years ago) and as cringe inducing as it was (recorded on Minidisc via a mic sellotaped to a cellphone) and delivered at a 100mph in my thick British accent I did re-educate myself on some stuff I’d since long forgotten.

OldPangYau actually gets a name drop at one point (he used to frequent the same forum) we were talking about how old we were when we first watched a Bruce Lee film.

MPM: "...Oh Bentley. Dude, Bentley was a foetus watching this movie."

Should also include a Cantonese/English hybrid
audio track that has all the Chinese actors speaking in Cantonese and the European actors speaking English. It really came out amazing!

And yes it will have the Cantonese versions
of both end songs.

Technically, I don't believe either of these (also referencing half a loaf) were officially announced with dates by 88. They were in the mash-up trailer of JC films and then we all pounced on it, as did BR.com. They are coming, but no official date announced. I'm assuming autumn, though, given the current slate of titles 88 is putting out.
