The Naked Gun (2025)

Well, I've seen a shitload of movies contrary to the argument before that those of us who enjoyed the teaser haven't seen much. Not only that, but I binged the ZAZ 4K set and Naked Gun 2 and 3 a week or two ago without even knowing the teaser was coming soon. I don't share my thoughts on movies or teasers much anymore, but it's funny that the rare time I do I immediately feel stupid lol

I feel like all the jokes in the teaser were funny enough in theory but something didn't make them connect for me. The joke about everyone in the movie being related to someone from the original should be really funny, but something is off about it. It might just be the cutting for the teaser.

Also the OJ joke is kind of funny, but OJ stuff is pretty old hat by now. I'm going to need more to get interested in seeing this.

It’s like, OJ stuff used to be funny then he went and like murdered people. Silly OJ!

But yeah, trailer didn’t exactly invigorate the senses.

Akiva Schaffer at the helm is promising, but this will probably be the same as the Steve Carell Get Smart or the Steve Martin Pink Panther.

Hopefully this is dead serious this time. Should be able to do a trilogy watch with Sophie's Choice and The Deer Hunter.

I think this will work but for me personally knowing Liam Neeson does serious action films it's just bizarre for now seeing him as Frank Drebin. I think it's more a matter of getting used to it. Hard to tell from this trailer if he will be good as Drebin got to see another one.

Yes. I am not doubting Liam Neeson I think he will pull it off in his own way. It's just that Nielsen was so good at it he will be hard to top.

I'm excited for this one. I thought the trailer was an April fools joke. Love how they make the original stars all of them have a presence in this trailer.

Its not the originals but it looks funny as hell.

Was Chip 'n Dale Rescue Rangers live action movie sort of funny? Dan Gregor, the writer here, wrote that one. I only saw part of it cause it lost me when Chip and Dale chipmunks were attending a human school.......

I swear I heard that Seth McFarlane was behind this. I see he is the producer. I'm sure he had a say in the style of comedy and writers.
