He mentions the "issues" that some folks had with the 4K disc:

I watched it recently and I think it looked nice. Not exceptional or anything - just nice. That raised iso grain is sometimes visible, sometimes not, if I didn't read about it here, I probably wouldn't consciously notice it.
Sound was great though.

Just got the disc. Sampled a few parts here and there. The movie looks interesting. However, the PQ is every bit as awful as mentioned in many places already. Then I watched the same bits on BD, and I think I prefer it to UHD, - the noise is less "enhanced" so to speak.

I am not sure if it's the look the director was after, or simply his desire to mask less than perfect CGI, but the result was rough to say the least.

Can only reference what's been said already re: the look of the film. If you don't like it, fine, horses can only be led to water and all that, but it's there because it's what was wanted, not to cover up any technical shortcomings.

Is the Creator the first Disney/20th Century Studios release by Leonine in Germany?

Don't know if it's the first but Leonine has taken over the distribution for every new title since Disney announced they would discontinue it outside of the US/UK.

I have a question. Was this film shot in 1080p or higher or just 720p?

I normally don't ask this kind of question, but this was shot with prosumer-grade cameras, so I got curious.

Decided to take a chance on this release and I’m glad I did. Pretty cool movie and I liked the look of it. Didn’t feel like I was watching a TV show, which made it feel different than a lot of mainstream movies these days. Audio was excellent.

Was shot on 4K with the Sony FX-3, but the image from that camera is a bit too clean, so they added artificial grain in post.

Why aren't other blockbuster films using prosumer-grade cameras? Why are they seen as inferior?

NOT a problem for this movie.

The CG is amazing.

No need to add any grain noise, they 've got plenty of it while filming: the movie was shot at ISO 12,800! No kidding. At this ISO the effective resolution is closer to 720p.

Does anyone know if the Italian release from Eagle Pictures (see below) is the same (including encoding) as the US/UK releases?

Loved the movie and thought it looked great. I have the France version, not sure if they’re all the same?
