On Digitalbits.com yesterday, he posted upcoming Disney Studios movies coming to UHD. He said that Tron Trilogy UHD boxset.. ( Tron, Tron Legacy, Tron Ares ) and the 60th anniversary of Sound of music is coming in 2025.. He also mentioned that SOM could be announced around it's anniversary in 2025.. This is not trolling.. If anyone has an arguments. They can check DigitalBits.com

Or the IMAX switching aspect ratios. The blu-ray has them, but Disney+ doesn’t.

Gotta say, casting Leto lost me but that trailer won me back. It looks visually stunning and having the worlds collide seems like a fun idea. I just wish it had anyone but Leto as the lead. It's like it instantly gives the movie baggage and stink when it could have been a fresh face.

As for Legacy on 4K, I'm sure we'll get all 3 a few months after Ares release. I'd love to see the first 2 come out before Ares though just to get to watch them before the new movie.

Fingers crossed they'll give us both versions. I can't stand the distracting, gimmicky jumping ratios but I know I'm in the minority here. I always disliked not having the choice on Blu Ray, but if they include both in the 4K they have a chance at making everyone happy.

Can’t believe it’s been almost 15 years. Since then Daft Punk broke up, too.

I’d be shocked if this doesn’t have switching ratios. Disney Plus might not have them, but the disks do as does Vudu/FAH for streaming.

That “rumor” about redoing Clu’s face, where does that come from? I haven’t heard that before and it sounds like wishful thinking. A co-worker was working on the CGI for this back in 2009/10 and it apparently was a really difficult project for the VFX team, extreme crunch that has only recently become a known thing outside the industry, so I always felt the film looked incredible for the most part considering the stress of making it.
