I don't know who he is, so maybe someone who has knowledge of his posting history can verify his credibility.

While I'm not surprised that the Paramount titles he mentioned have "lossless" (as that's the way they were going last year), I was interested that it appears they have switched to Dolby TrueHD (though I feel it makes good sense for them to do so!).

Cool! As I said, it's not surprising to see Paramount offering "Lossless" since they were headed that way last year, but it's nice to see confirmation.

The VC-1 encode with "a peak bit rate of around 38Mbps" was good news to hear as well (since it appears those titles will be getting BD-optomized transfers which Max already confirmed, but "Bee Movie" would have been so easy for them to transfer over).

I'm with you Bluman. I can hardly wait for Seven of Nine to come on my BD unit. She is my absolute favorite Star Trek character. Even more fascinating that Mister Spoke. Resistance is Futile. I want Seven of Nine to assimulate me. Engage! I also find Lt. Tuvok very sexy, yet somewhat annoying. I think it has to do with his Lee's press-on eyebrows.

Yes, There Will Be Blood will be highly anticipated. And Cloverfield might also do well. But come on, what's with the first three?

The initial titles are not important. Hell, they could have announced The Stepford Wives and Paycheck and I'd have been happy.
