That sounds like your wife may possibly be giving you the go ahead for even another upgrade (like that center channel speaker).

That was my line of thinking when getting the fronts! Oh well, I will get it soon enough. I'm not to worried about it for the time being.

I don't think I have listened to this much music in a long time! The Polks just didn't do it justice. These speakers are just easy to listen to, if that makes sense? Not fatiguing at all....

I know that some will argue the point, but many of us believe that the speakers will sound better as they break in.

I think that point is valid, I even experienced that with my Polks. I have been running them through the gamut, they should be broken in pretty quickly!

Well, I pulled my center today.

For two reasons

1. Motivation to get the new one.

2. The timbre of the fronts and center was killing me during Ratatouille today.

Hopefully I will have the new one sooner than later.

That bad huh Jason !! I could see where that would drive me nuts having something go right to left & change tones as it went through the center .
