thats what I was wondering when I first read about it, but the actual box has been revised and now has a USB port. You basically use the USB-Mini USB that you used to charge the PS3 game controller. Then you just connect to a USB port that will be on all of the time. (or most of the time)

Now thats what I'm talking about! That sounds like a perfect solution for me. Though it will disappoint my friend at work who I told to that I would sell my PS3 remote to.

So where do I buy the box and how much is it?

Nice!

I'm ordering one of these! I can't wait to see the face of my brother the next time he comes over and I power up my ps3 with my Harmony remote!

An awesome feature I figured out with Harmony Remotes, is that you can log onto someone elses Remote to set it up for them!

I set up my dads remote who lives in Florida and I live in Virginia. I could manually change the settings and setup activities, but he had to physically 'update remote' for the settings to take place.

Very cool for anyone wanting to buy a remote for someone that's not very electronically inclined.

Interesting.

Next time you're at his place, install UltraVNC server on his computer (and open the appropriate firewall port) so you can do almost anything remotely.

I just set mine up to control my ipod dock through onkyo reciever. Works pretty cool, can fast forward, rewind, pause and stop.

Found a unexpected place to buy the 890 super CHEAP , printed there page and went to CC and they price matched @ 110%, eveny one has one of these store local I think

Well I ordered the IR4PS3 adapter today (should arrive Saturday at the latest) and my Harmony 880 will be arriving tomorrow!

He is in Canada so I doubt his post office would have been closed yesterday for you.

Alright, I finally got my Harmony 880 remote and it works like a charm! I just had a few snagfus, but the Logitech helpdesk fixed them just fine. Just one was the buttons weren't being customized to my liking and apparently it was an Activity issue.

Final test will be my wife when she gets home tonight!


Oh and my IR4PS3 is shipping now!
