To be honest with you Blu_Ray_fan , Thankyou for the imput ! But you would have to hear it I guess !! My front three & my 4 polk towers are hooked to the amp , the back towers are rears so the are chilled out but noticeable !! the speakers mounted on the wall are hooked to the receiver as rears so they are chilled out but noticeable . It does sound incredible so it is something you would have to hear I guess !!!!!!!

My only point is, it is not ideal. With a better pre/pro or receiver you could make it work better! That Yammy can not "matrix" to 9.1. Maybe that should be you next upgrade if you plan on sticking with that. Having "surround" speakers in front of you... i have never seen/heard that, so you are right, I would have to hear it to judge. But with your room, 7.1 is allready overboard. But we all know, you are CRAZY! I just believe in BEST audio how the producer wanted you to expirience it!

My room is bigger and a better layout then yours, and I'm still 5.1!!!

I under stand you're point totally . when I bought the extra towers it was to start A set-up for my bedroom ! So I am using them now in the main set-up becuase I can .

NO EMO in the bedroom . just A TV , receiver , & front 3 speaker's !
If I could Bi-amp my front BOSTEN towers I would get A second EMO , But they only have 2 binding post's !

Looks like you need to upgrade to the Yamaha RX-Z11 with 11.2 channels. And then get more EMO amps.

And it's wierd when the young chicks in my classes come onto me and I look at them and think how much older I am over them..... lol

I sometimes feel like a pervert. I'm in a wonderiful relationship right now and I'm not messing that up for nothing, but it's frackin tempting I swear it is. hahahahha
