I think the only one that compares is Mel, I mean RDJ and Phelps were not doing anything disrespectful to anyone else but themselves....if you consider weed a bad thing that is.

When I heard the audio the guy walked in on a scene more then once not just once more then once I can see how that is irritating and especially on an important scene but dang he did go on yelling for awhile.

Who here like sports?

Do you believe that it's alright for athletes (professional atheles) to act in this fashion? Ever watch a baseball manager acted after a call he does not like? A batter charging the mount? Hockey player fighting and using sticks?

Thats different imo because its competition, you can not take your shot over, you can not change a call (usually). Bale getting upset is understandable, but they way he went through with it was unacceptable.

I can understand a coach or player, or whole team getting colorful over a wrongful call if that costs them a championship or a big game, because its unfair. Sure its unfair that Bale's scene got messed up, but he can do it OVER again a million times.

And I am not even saying its right for sports players to do it, I think everyone should be able to control that...I just can understand it more because of their situation.

It's the same thing, look at it from this angle.

Athletes get upset because of a bad call that can ruin all "their hard work"

I know that personaly I hate having my work wasted or my time wasted in the office by the action of someone else who did not concentrate or just was careless.

Now look at it from this fashion. You and the crew have been re-doing this scene over and over, there had some practice run before shooting and then they are doing the shoot and lines are forgotten, lights are not correct, equipment is not working....the list can be long. Now suddendly everyone is "in the zone", they are nailling this scene and then someone walk's in a destroy the scene. How do you now feel? All your hard work ruined because of a bad call from someone. What is your reaction? Sure actors are "prima donna", all of their life they are being told by everyone how great and wonderful they are.

In this case I don't attribute this reaction to being a prima donna. I say it's more a case of someone who does have some trouble keeping his anger in check along with being tired and frustrated and suddendly lashing out at the easiest target.

I think we've all probably been that ticked off at work at one time or another. We just don't have cameras around to catch it, thank goodness. I would cut the guy some slack. Everybody has bad days.

Default this was from Last July...

so can we all Get Over it? He had a bad day, went off on the guy, the movie Obv. got finished with him and prob. apologized right after or within a day or so. if not, then he's reading all his press from TDK still and thinking he's above it, or was---as it was out when Terminator was being filmed.

it's only news now cuz' this audio clip just came out.

Craft services costs more for a movie than most people make in a year. Anything that you think is right or appropriate goes out the window when you're only as good as the opening weekend numbers and thousands of dollars go by each second while you're on set.

These things are movies, they get edited together and have the illusion of a continuous work. Multiple takes are required for scenes. Shooting drags on all day and goes on for months. EVERYTHING is run on a schedule. Actors are cattle. Sure, they get paid a lot but there's a reason a lot of young stars burn out more quickly and that's because Hollywood throws them around like tissues.

Was it nice or right? No, probably not. Does it make him a bad person? Maybe if your sense of good and bad is very black and white and you like to judge people based on closed set personal moments. I'd rather see someone curt and straightforward than most of the passive aggressive BS that passes as acceptable nowadays.
So its like a regular job then, schedules, working long days, month after month...wow, sounds brutal.

Richards was on a show long ago called Firay Night and he had his own show after Seinfeld.....which helps prove my point. Thanks.

Bruce Franklin ( the guy getting yelled at) had this to say. It sheds a little more light. He had a right to be mad but he did go overboard a little. From hearing this it seems as though Chraistian might have appoligized for his behavior later on during the day.
Classic. The victim apologizing for the abuser.

Can you say "Dysfunctional"?
