Pretty cool to hear Starhawk and Bug were almost in the film.

Yep. That opening scene in the trailer takes place on Sakaar. And those are Sakaarans.

As confirmed by the arrest report in the trailer. And the action figures for the film.

Then that means that a Planet Hulk movie could be coming soon . That would mean that Beta Ray Bill should be coming also .

I would love that TBH. The movie description that someone posted in either The Avengers 2, or 3 thread was super dope!

not necessarily. Just because they used a particular species from the Marvel universe doesnt mean they are going to use a specific story theyre in.

Well if they wanted a Hulk movie to make boatloads of money that would be the movie to make , the only problem is the amount of cgi .

Right and that means it would be very difficult for it to make boatloads of money.

Honestly, Planet Hulk is a bad idea for a movie.

I woud actually agree. I wouldnt mind part of a Hulk movie taking place there, or it being alluded to, but not a whole film. I do like the idea of Hulk being sent there and coming back pissed off to fight the Avengers, but then we already saw him fight some of them in the first film.

You guys are crazy that would be an awesome movie if it ever got made and Marvel would do it right too . I would think that with all the money they have been making for Disney that they should be allowed to take some risk of something that big .

Yelp.

Sure Marvel could do it right thunderforce but WHY would they do it? You take the Hulk, an audience favorite, hurl him off into space because he has become a bigger menace than good to the world, then he comes back with an alien army and wants to kill the Marvel big shots, Stark being one of them. There is just no going back from that. It worked in the comics but not for a movie audience, not the same way.

I could see a Civil War film taking place one day because at the end of that you can still bring everyone back together. Planet Hulk is different. You could have it end like the comic so Hulk CAN come back one day but I don't know, I don't think it would work for the MCU.

Exactly. Plus, Hulk has seen two "solo" outings with middle-of-the-road results both commercially and critically. Right now, he's working best as an ensemble player. There are other characters to center a movie around first before they try with Hulk again.

No Planet Hulk, but I do want to see him Vs. Captain America, Iron Man, and Thor at the same time!

I really don't see the GOTG as a risk . It is not about 1 guy but 5 and some of them are awesome . Also in space with cool space ships and battles come on what's not to love . This is as sure a thing as can be in fact this is how they should introduce some of their female characters that might not do as well . Put them in an all girl team , a lot more awesome in one movie . I know as a guy I would love to go and see 4 or 5 gorgeous females kicking ass in the MCU lol . Capt Marvel , Valkyre , Spider Woman , She Hulk . that would be awesome .

They can change things all they want shoot he should come back at the end give Iron man a smack and thank him for giving Hulk a whole world to smash . In Planet Hulk the Hulk was smashing like never before lol . But we will see .

A Planet Hulk movie would need a completely different setup, since the Civil War storyline wouldn't work in context for the MCU.

But they could make one as long as they don't follow up with a World War Hulk movie, because that story was bullllshiiiit.

I'd rather them try and find a loophole in their contract with Fox to try and get Silver Surfer instead like in they had him in the comics. Beta Ray Bill just didn't fit right with the animated version.

I think they have been trying and I would love that even more because I want an Annihilators movie too . But I just don't see that happening unfortunately .
