I still say that might've been for a younger version of him in a flashback rather than scarring him up.

But weren't the tracking dots only seen on one side of his face? Hard to believe they'd only de-age half his face.

I thought the dots were all over his face? Or did they only catch him in profile (it was a less-than-perfect spy shot after all) and people assumed that the dots were only on that half of his face?

The new trailer looks great and glad they are bringing back some gadgets (hopefully they don't go too over the top). Christoph Waltz looks great as the villain too.

Nah, I liked it. Thought it meshed well and didn't stand out as obviously CGI'd.

Doesn't look like there are any on the left side of his face, but it's not the best angle.

Hmm it's real weird, scarring or to make him younger for a flashback. He didn't look scarred in todays trailer.

If he is scarred/Blofeld they wouldn't show it in a trailer. Took them this long to even show us his face at all. Frankly the less they show, the better; glad the Bond franchise still hasn't lost the art of making trailers that don't give away too much of the story.

Wish we could get a full-blown John Barry-esque score for a modern Bond film.

Mendes and Deakins/Hoytema are bringing back the allure of being a spy with the visuals alone.

I thought the Skyfall score was one of the series' best. Can't wait to see what Newman has cooked up for Spectre. If Mendes really doesn't return for Bond 25 I wonder if they'll bring back David Arnold.
